Brentford are among the clubs interested in Paris FC attacker Ilan Kebbal, according to L’Équipe, with the 27-year-old expected to listen to offers this summer.

Brentford are among the Premier League clubs tracking Paris FC attacker Ilan Kebbal ahead of the summer window, according to a report from L’Équipe. The French outlet suggests that Kebbal is expected to be open to the market at the end of the season, with Brentford named alongside Fulham, Everton and Crystal Palace among the English clubs in the picture.

The key point at this stage is that the story is being reported as interest rather than an advanced deal. L’Équipe says Kebbal, who is under contract until 2028, should be “à l’écoute du marché” this summer, while Paris FC would want between €10 million and €12 million for a player still tied down for another two years. The same report adds that Lyon pushed for him last summer and that several English clubs were keen in January, which suggests Brentford’s interest is part of a longer-running market around the player rather than a sudden new development.

Kebbal’s output this season helps explain the level of interest around him. He has returned eight goals and four assists in 24 league appearances for Paris FC, and is generally viewed as a creative attacking player who can be used in a range of advanced positions. That versatility, alongside his production, appears to be part of what has placed him on the radar of clubs in England ahead of the summer window.

From a Brentford perspective, the link is an interesting one because it points to creativity as much as goals.  Kebbal is particularly valued for the way he brings both invention and ball-carrying threat, while L'Equipe describes him as one of the most durable players in Ligue 1 this season. Brentford’s recent recruitment record suggests they are comfortable targeting attackers outside the very top end of the market, and Kebbal’s profile looks more like that sort of opportunity than a move for an established star from one of Europe’s biggest leagues.

There is still a long way to go before this becomes anything more concrete. L’Équipe’s report makes clear that Brentford are not alone in tracking Kebbal, with clubs in Ligue 1 and Saudi Arabia also said to be monitoring his situation ahead of the summer. At this stage, the story is one of interest rather than advanced negotiations, but it does place Brentford among the clubs keeping a close eye on a player who appears likely to attract wider attention in the months ahead.
