Brighton's tactical maestro completes a clean sweep for the Albion

Albion have completed the triple of Player of the Month, Goal of the Month and Manager of the month, with German manager Fabian Hurzeler picking up the latter of the awards for Brighton's terrific September performances.

Albion only dropped points once throughout September, where Hurzeler guided the side to a hard-fought draw against a much improved Leeds side. A second half Luka Vuskovic header was enough to secure a point for the Seagulls. However, eight goals in two games and a victory against the reigning champions was enough to secure Hurzeler’s second Premier League Manager of the Month award.

Fabian’s men dismantled newly promoted Coventry City away from home, thanks to five different goal-scorers. This included an absolute rocket from captain Lewis Dunk, striking the ball from over 30 yards out past ex-Albion Goalkeeper Carl Rushworth.

The confidence from the Coventry result undoubtedly shone through against Arsenal, as the Albion dominated again, scoring three and limiting Arsenal to minimal chances.

Hurzeler’s attacking style of play has given Brighton fans a lot to cheer about in recent months, filling the fanbase with optimism for the season ahead. This award is thoroughly deserved, given this September has been one of the best months in Brighton’s recent history.
