Brighton and Hove Albion managed to turn over a 50-year curse of clubs failing to win at Old Trafford after going two goals or more behind. Their fifth win in six at the home of the Red Devils, but how good was the performance, actually?

Let's go through the players one by one and rate them /10...

The English 'best number two in the world' had a terrific game. After an early scare of conceding two in a matter of minutes, Steele went on to make some incredible saves to keep Albion in the game. 

From slide tackling one-on-ones and closing gaps with a brave save against Marcus Rashford, Steele was instrumental to Albion's win. 

He was also very strong on the ball. Fearless, confident, and composed. 

A mostly solid game for Costinha, who slotted in at right-back rather well. Costinha burst forward well and caused problems with a good amount of pace. 

The Portuguese struggled with the goal but overall had a tidy game. He will be very useful this season and looks to be another shrewd addition. 

The Croatian defender is evolving into a top talent and was very strong in his duels. Despite missing the second goal, Vuskovic was very good in his aerial duels and helped win the ball back high up the pitch. 

Vuskovic has a lot of potential and is starting to showcase that with every passing gameweek.

Struijk had a very good full debut after his £18 million move from Leeds. Winning his aerial duels and supplied a brilliant partner to Vuskovic for the evening. 

Despite a slow start defensively, the pair grew into the game well, and you can certainly see the future between both of them!

Hadjam created the goal to get the Seagulls back in the game at 2-0 down. A delightful ball from deep found the feet of Charalampos Kostoulas, who steered it home. 

Despite the shaky start, the Algerian went on to have a strong debut. Some nice passing, good defending and bursts forward. 

It is hard to tell whether Boscagli works in the 'midfield' role or not. While he may seem effective with some of his passes on his left and good tackling, he tends to lose a lot of that on his right. 

While he was mostly fine, it doesn't feel like a permanent place for Boscagli. A decent performance nonetheless. 

The Spaniard had a good debut after the whole team's shaky start. Kept the ball well and made some good recovery challenges, especially against Rashford after being nutmegged!

Andrés still has some way to go before settling into the physicality of the big leagues but seems to be an exciting prospect. 

How does he just keep doing it? Eight goals against United, and another star performance in back-to-back fashion. The German general was excellent, and the game worked around him. 

From his passing to the pressing to his leadership on the pitch, Groß proved just how vital he still is to the Seagulls after all these years. Vintage.

The Ivorian had a good game. Yalcouyé probably should have scored after his darting run was found by a brilliant ball from Groß. A better finish would have seen a third goal already this season. 

His pressing and intensity helped Albion get back into the game, and while he wasn't at the absolute highest level that he has shown so far, he was still solid. 

I didn't even think we would see O'Riley back in the starting lineup, in all honesty! A pretty strong resurgence, though. His pressure helped bring the score back to 2-2. 

Despite a fairly poor first half with stray touches, he improved as the game went on. 

O'Riley was good, and he has carved himself back into Hürzeler's plans as a very strong squad option. 

The Greek forward had a strange half. From mistimed passes and poor touches, he scored with his first touch to bring Albion back into the game. 

While he may not be the best or on the ball, he is certainly clinical. Kostoulas has an eye for goal and tends to be in the right positions. 

Once his technical aspects improve, he could become a very good striker. 

The Turkish full-back didn't have too much to do, but looked fairly solid when he did come on. With little to report in the 16 minutes that he was on the pitch, he helped guide Albion over the line to a historic win!

The same can be said for Yasin Ayari, although he did add an element of stability to the midfield in place of Olivier Boscagli. 

Ayari's passing keeps the side ticking, and he will be needed at full fitness this weekend against Arsenal. 

De Cuyper's substitution was super effective. The Belgian full-back-turned-forward came off the bench to score the winning goal. 

It feels fairly inevitable that De Cuyper will crash the box and make something happen. With the elite timing of his runs and ball-striking ability, it makes him an impactful member of Hürzeler's side.

While he was criticised for his defensive contributions, it is clear that, in a high press and a narrow side, he can be a very valuable player this season. 

The Paraguayan made an impact off the bench. A player who occupies half-spaces incredibly well, especially in forward areas. Without Gomez on the pitch, the third goal potentially wouldn't have happened. 

An underrated player who goes under the radar for his value to the team. 

It was nice to see Georginio return. While he had little to do, his driving runs and presence almost led to more goals for the Seagulls. 

An invaluable player and an even better character.
