Wins against Coventry City, Tromsø and Aston Villa have set the tone for a clinical and high-octane Brighton this season.
The Seagulls are also overperforming their xG, the highest in the Premier League at 10.8. Quite incredible, really; Fabian Hürzeler's side are seriously turning their fortunes around.
Albion have been relentless and clinical. They cover an unstoppable amount of distance on the pitch and insist that no team can work harder than them; more often than not this season, this has caused problems.

"Manchester United have endured a very poor start to the season, winning just one of their opening four Premier League fixtures.
While the defeat against Manchester City was overshadowed by the controversy surrounding Erling Haaland’s offside goal, the performance itself was still far from convincing, with United struggling to create much going forward.
United head into their Carabao Cup clash with Brighton knowing that the Seagulls were also the last team to knock them out of a cup competition at Old Trafford, doing so in the FA Cup back in January. That defeat will bring back memories that many United fans would rather forget.
However, Wednesday’s fixture also offers Michael Carrick’s side the perfect opportunity to reset and restart in front of their home supporters.
United’s biggest weakness at present is not necessarily a specific position on the pitch, but their lack of intensity at key moments. At times, the team have been too slow to react to second balls, too static in attack and lacking invention in the final third.
Potentially something to look at here from an Albion perspective. Albion have been very encouraging off the ball and on it, with relentless pressing and chance creation.
The relentless nature of Fabian Hürzeler's style of play tends to bring out the best in players like Malick Yalcouyé, Diego Gomez, and Pascal Groß, which could unlock United's defence.
"The potential introduction of young players such as Shea Lacey could inject some much-needed energy into a forward line that has struggled to consistently produce in the opening weeks of the campaign.
Carrick is expected to rotate his squad, with the likes of Benjamin Šeško, Andrey Santos and Leny Yoro potentially handed starts, although Bruno Fernandes is likely to retain his place in the starting XI."
Hinting at the opportunity to rotate the side from a United perspective is interesting, especially as they'd be expected to progress in order to bring themselves back within touching distance of winning a major trophy again.
"United will need to come out of the blocks quickly, with Carrick demanding a significant increase in tempo from his players. However, they will also need to be wary of Brighton’s ability to exploit spaces through the middle of the pitch, particularly if United fail to maintain their defensive structure.
Ultimately, the firepower of Šeško, Fernandes and the rest of United’s attack should be enough to get the Reds over the line and secure their first domestic knockout victory since the 2024 FA Cup final."
United District Prediction: Manchester United 3-1 Brighton & Hove Albion
While it is a fair reaction to expect a win with the firepower United have, it would be bold to suggest the Seagulls are not already well prepared for this.
The aforementioned statistics for possession in the Premier League are reassuring regarding the amount of expected control for Albion.
United tend to struggle with being overloaded while surrendering control, especially if the Seagulls score the first goal.
Perhaps there is a case where this logic applies both ways. The Seagulls have started poorly in the Premier League against both Leeds United and Chelsea, both of which scored quickly.
Depending on the team selected by both sides, we could be in for a very entertaining game. If Brighton want it, there is a common belief that they will go on to get it.
