From Brighton’s bargain trips to Jablonec to Bournemouth’s costly Norwegian rounds, discover which travelling supporters are scoring the cheapest matchday refreshments across the 2026/27 European circuit.
Whenever you think about a European away day, the first question that comes to the minds of fans isn't the cost of food or travel... but perhaps a pint?
Who has it most expensive?
Albion fans may not have been as 'niced' by the footballing gods when seeing the likes of Athens and Madrid pop up as an early first trip, but that doesn't mean that Jablonec away has to follow suit...
Interestingly, of all English clubs, Albion rank fourth for their 'most expensive' pint from those on their European travels. Our friend along the South Coast in Bournemouth may be slightly gutted about their trip to Lillestrøm when they see this article.
As for the rest, we're talking minimal differences, although it is somewhat entertaining to see Crystal Palace fans get slightly more ripped off than us.

The fact that these are the 'most expensive' pints is quite something when considering an average beer in Brighton or London is likely to set you back at least £6.50!
How about the cheapest beers in Europe?
This is what the people really want to see. Beers that are affordable and make you feel good for not dipping into your savings, to have a normal evening out.

Albion place top of the charts for the opportunity for the cheapest pint in Europe when compared to all other English clubs this season. As well as this, the Seagulls fans will be delighted to see they also end up third for the average cost of a beer (£3.93), a charming 87p saved per bar visit compared to their biggest rivals, Palace.
Jablonec (Czech Republic) is by far the cheapest location for a beer when compared to the rest. £1.22 per pint, and let's be honest, you could probably find some sub-£1 pubs around town.
Bournemouth join Albion fans with the sub-£2 drinks, while the rest tend to float between £2 and £4 for the cheapest beer option on their European journey this season.
All of this data is according to LiveScore, whose index ranks the cost of a pint at every European away destination Premier League club visit in 2026/27, covering 31 away fixtures across Arsenal, Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Sunderland.
For each fixture, three supporter-friendly bars near the stadium, city centre or fan areas were priced using publicly available menus. Prices were converted to GBP at mid-market rates on 6 October 2026.
