Uncover Brighton's most stylish away kits since their Premier League ascent, featuring stunning colours and unforgettable match-day memories.
Brighton have always been known for being the influential club for young players who are raised and sold for huge profits.
You may know Brighton for being a disruptor of the big 6, and a club trying to break the mould to fit into the next generation of big clubs in the football world.
What you may not know Brighton for, though, is being the club with iconic football kits. So, has there been any since their promotion to the Premier League in 2017? Let's see a list of the top 3...
1. 2021/22 "Hyper Turq"
A football shirt in Brighton rarely gets remembered by its brand name or colour, but the release of the 'Hyper Turq' was nothing short of genius.
A colour based on the rails around the seafront on the Brighton coastline, and a very identifiable to anyone who lives around or has even visited the Brighton area.
Hyper Turq had some great memories attached to it, too. The last-minute Neal Maupay goal against Crystal Palace will always be the best, and the endless run of unbeaten draws during Graham Potter's reign will always come to mind. A true away days staple.
The colour became so iconic, that Albion even included it it for the first time on the new home shirt of 2025/26.
2. 2019/20
Sometimes, simple is effective. Brighton's pure black kit was exactly that. Nothing crazy, or overthought, but the details like the all-white badge were subtle enough to create one of the slickest away shirts in recent memory.
While it is nice to be creative sometimes, looking like a referee is surprisingly cool. This shirt is one that you could wear anywhere and just about get away with it. It's not in your face, but it is clean.
The design worked hand-in-hand with the star signing of the moment, Neal Maupay. The Frenchman was known for his last-minute goals, and his deft header at Arsenal will always take top spot for memories from this period of time. A timeless classic, despite the lockdown connotations.
3. 2023/24
The remake of the green and black was a more than necessary edition to Brighton's travels to their first ever European adventure.
The Seagulls once had this colour-scheme when the Amex first opened it's doors in 2011/12, but there was something special about the timing of the recreation.
Obviously, this shirt being worn by iconic players like Pascal Groß, João Pedro, and Kaoru Mitoma in Europe will never be forgotten. Goals at Marseille, and who could forget the 2-0 win over Ajax in Amsterdam?
A special shirt during a special year, helped by the very nice colour-scheme that just screams Brighton.
