The German maestro’s sensational September tally of goals and assists fuels a historic milestone, positioning him to become the first Seagull ever to claim this prestigious honor.
According to FutSheriff, Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Pascal Groß has reportedly won the Premier League's Player of the Month award, coming after a September filled with goals, assists and top all-round performances.
Credit: REUTERSThe 35 year old picked up a goal in his last two games in the Premier League, scoring against Coventry, and more recently Arsenal, while also picking up three assists across those games as well.
The German helped the Seagulls to an unbeaten September in the Premier League, with one draw against Leeds United and two wins against Coventry and Arsenal. Whilst not necessarily counting the Carabao Cup fixture against Manchester United for this award, he also picked up another goal and helped complete a comeback at Old Trafford, which would have been difficult to ignore.

He would also become the third oldest winner of the award, just behind Cristiano Ronaldo at the age of 36, and Teddy Sheringham at the age of 37.
