Chelsea hosts Manchester City this Sunday at Stamford Bridge. City seeks the win to move within 6 points of Arsenal, so it will not be an easy match for the Blues, who also need the victory to stay in the fight for Champions League places.

The Premier League returns, and this Sunday puts Chelsea face-to-face with Manchester City, two teams that arrive with a smile on their faces after reaching the FA Cup semifinals and now turn their focus back to the league. Pep Guardiola's team dreams of catching Arsenal at the top, although today the gap is nine points.

On the other side, the Blues aim to break into the top five in the final stretch of the championship. Liam Rosenior's team will not have Enzo Fernandez, who remains under an internal suspension following his comments regarding a possible move to Real Madrid. Each with their own motivation, both hungry for glory.

Injuries and doubts for the match:

Reece James (thigh), Levi Colwill (knee), Trevoh Chalobah (ankle), Filip Jorgensen (groin), Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (thigh), and Enzo Fernandez (suspended).

Chelsea's possible lineup (4-2-3-1)

GK: Robert Sanchez - He has established himself as the owner of the goal this season and arrives after a quiet night in the FA Cup without any interventions. He provides security when challenged and responds well in isolated plays, which will be crucial against City.

RB: Malo Gusto - He has become a recurring route to advance down the right side, especially for his involvement in goal-scoring plays. It is precisely that tendency to get into the opponent's box that adds threat to a team that needs depth.

CB: Wesley Fofana - A center-back who feels comfortable in individual duels and finds solutions when the team is left exposed. His contribution appears especially when Chelsea needs someone to hold the back line.

CB: Tosin Adarabioyo - He dominates in the air and also contributes in the opponent's box. He comes off scoring in the FA Cup, a competition in which he has two goals.

LB: Marc Cucurella - The Spaniard participates in both phases of the game. He tends to position himself high and supports every advance, while also offering the necessary recovery in his own half. He returns to the starting lineup after a rest in the match against Port Vale.

CM: Romeo Lavia - He is responsible for organizing the team from the base. His presence allows the team to find pauses when the match demands it. Additionally, his sustained return without issues is good news for the coaching staff.

CM: Moises Caicedo - One of the midfield pillars. His task is to recover and maintain the team's structure, as well as being the first pass when the transition begins. His consistency is what keeps him as an unmovable piece in the system. He has three goals and one assist this Premier League season.

AM: Pedro Neto - He contributes goals (five so far) and assists (four since the start of the season) from the right side. In one-on-one situations, he can break games open and create advantages in moments when the team needs a game-changing player.

AM: Cole Palmer - "Cold" is the one in charge of connecting all the pieces in the attack. He moves between the lines and comes off assuming a greater role in midfield control in Enzo's absence.

AM: Alejandro Garnacho - He is set to take the place of the suspended Argentine. He offers a change of pace and arrival in the box. He already made an impact coming off the bench in the FA Cup by scoring a goal, and now aims to start.

ST: Joao Pedro - He has 14 goals and five assists in the Premier League, numbers that explain his relevance in attack. He moves across the entire offensive front and can finish with few touches, being the player to watch inside the box.
