Ahead of a big game on Merseyside to face Everton, here is everything you need to know about our hosts and why it is a must-win game for the Blues.
On Saturday afternoon, Chelsea will make their first-ever trip to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, as they face Everton in the teatime kick-off on match day 31 of the Premier League season, the club's final game before a welcome March international break.
So, what can we expect from our hosts on Saturday?
Everton are having a very interesting season. After a number of campaigns down the bottom end of the league, fighting off relegation, they are now aiming for a first European campaign in just under a decade.
It's safe to say there have been some teething issues with their move to the new ground. As it stands, David Moyes' side are 14th in the Premier League home table, with just 19 points from 15 games. They have won just one home game since the 6th of December, a 2-0 win against newly promoted Burnley on the 3rd of March.
On the contrary, the Toffees have the fourth-best away record in the league, with 24 points from 15 games. Only Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City have picked up more points on their travels than Everton.
So, it's a good job for Liam Rosenior's side that this game is at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, given the above statistics. Let's hope further home struggles can be inflicted on the hosts in this one.
In terms of dangermen, Chelsea fans will need no introduction to midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who spent the 24/25 season in SW6, winning the UEFA Conference League - which he played a big part in - and the Club World Cup during his sole season at the club.
The 27-year old has scored six goals and provided three assists in 23 Premier League games this season. He has also created eight big chances in what has been a productive season.
Winger Iliman Ndiaye is often seen as Everton's biggest threat. Whilst his numbers don't leap off the page, he is seen as a very talented player, capable of taking opponents out of the game with his dribbling.
At the back, Jordan Pickford made a rare error in goal last time out, but has been largely very consistent this season, and has had some very good games against Chelsea in the past.
This will be a tough game, for sure. But it is absolutely must win if Chelsea are serious about their Champions League qualification aspirations this season. Let's see if they are.
