Chelsea midfield Enzo Fernandez might just have dropped an hint regarding his probable move to Real Madrid.

There has been a lot of buzz at Chelsea since the previous campaign regarding the departure of some their senior players following the end of the campaign.

Certainly the Blues' future planning hasn't really boded well with the likes of Enzo Fernandez, Cole Palmer and Marc Cucurella as the latter's move to Real Madrid has now been officially announced by the Spanish club.

Experts are now of the opinion that Cucurella's move to Los Blancos could have a massive impact on the Fernandez's future at Stamford Bridge.

As sighted by CFCPys on X, the Chelsea midfielder apparently reacted on Fabrizio Romano's instagram post which reported his former teammate's move to the Spanish capital.

This has seemingly enraged a lot of the Blues fans, not only on Enzo but also on the club management, as they feel the Chels have now become a feeder club for the other European giants, as their 25-year-old midfielder is seemingly eager to follow in the steps of the Spanish midfielder.

The Blues could now be open to offers for Fernandez this summer as they have reportedly set an asking price of £120 million from their prized asset.

Fernandez was brought in by the Blues from Benfica back in January 2023 for a record transfer fee of £106.8 million and is currently under contract with the London based club till 2031.

The long term contract certainly gives the Chels an edge in terms of negotiations and Madrid doesn't seems to be in much of a hurry either, as the summer transfer window in both England and Spain will close on September first, 2026.

Although as for the Blues' internal problems with midfielder apparently began when Fernandez decided to mention Madrid as the city where he would like to be in the future.

Former manager Liam Rosenior and the club management decided to suspend the player for two crucial games following his comments and the relationship between the club and player seemingly hasn't improved ever since then.

Despite playing from midfield, Fernandez ended the campaign being the Blues' second highest goalscorer in the Premier League with 10 goals, behind Joao Pedro who scored 20 times in the league during the previous campaign.

Now as it seems, the Argentine midfielder's move to the Spanish capital is looking more and more imminent every passing day, the signs certainly tell the same story.

As for the Blues they might need to find a replacement for the 15 goals and seven assists which Fernandez provided in all competitions pretty quickly, before going into the new campaign.
