The partner of a Chelsea star appears to drop hints about the player’s next destination, with the player seemingly unhappy in London.

Enzo Fernandez is one of the best midfielders today, and given the poor current state of his team, Chelsea, rumors have grown about a possible departure from Stamford Bridge at the end of the current season.

The Argentine player is thinking about the World Cup with Argentina, but he also must decide his future at the club level, so it was his partner, Valu Cervantes, who gave some clues about the situation of the 2022 World Cup champion.

There have been many rumors about Fernandez’s future, including interest from Real Madrid in the former River Plate player; however, there has been no offer from the Spanish club, and it is all speculation.

To clarify the situation a bit, Valu Cervantes, Enzo’s partner and the mother of his child, spoke with the Argentine media outlet AZZ and explained that she has several destinations she likes. “I like any destination, I’ll go wherever they tell me,” said Valu Cervantes, Enzo Fernandez’s partner.

Regarding the option of staying in the Premier League, Cervantes explained, “I don’t know, we’ll see. Hopefully, yes, I love it. I like England.” She was then asked about a return to River and confirmed that it will happen someday. “Obviously, at some point, we will return. Enzo wants to, we don’t know when, but he will return.”

Although there is much talk about a possible departure from Chelsea, this would not be easy. Fernandez has a contract with the English team until 2032, so if anyone wants to take him, they will have to pay a very large clause.

Among the interested teams are Real Madrid and PSG, two clubs with the financial power to sign Enzo, but for now, there are no concrete offers, so the Argentine midfielder will have to keep waiting and focus on the big goal of 2026: the World Cup.

It is important to remember that Enzo would not feel completely comfortable at Chelsea, given the team’s recent performances: having lost four consecutive matches, been eliminated from the Champions League in a humiliating way, and fallen further and further from the top spots in the Premier League. All of this would cause the Argentine player to rethink his future in London and seek new horizons.
