As the final international break of the 25/26 campaign well and truly gets underway, let's take a look at the fortunes or otherwise of Chelsea's global stars

Friday saw the second day of the international break get underaway, and with it, plenty of action for Chelsea stars. Let's see how they got on.

To begin, Moises Caicedo started for Ecuador in their friendly against Morocco in Madrid. He played the 90 minutes as his side drew 1-1, for his 59th international cap. They will face the Netherlands on Tuesday, in Eindhoven, for their final game.

Elsewhere, Marc Cucurella started for Spain in their friendly at home to Serbia. He also completed the 90 minutes, as they comfortably ran out 3-0 winners. They will face Egypt on Tuesday in their final game of the break.

At U21 level, Josh Acheampong played the 90 minutes for England as they drew 1-1 away to Andorra in Euro qualifying. He played as a centre back in a back four for this one. On loan at Everton forward, Tyrique George, played the full game too.

For their final game of the break, they will face Moldova at home, on Tuesday, in another Euros qualifier.

Back to senior level, where Cole Palmer was named amongst the substitutes for England, as they hosted Uruguay at Wembley in a friendly. The Chelsea man came on in the 56th minute for Phil Foden, and created a big chance for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who could not convert his header.

For their final game, they will face Japan on Tuesday. Considering former Blues boss Thomas Tuchel picked two different camps, one for each game, it feels somewhat unlikely that Palmer will feature in that one, but let's wait and see.

Over in Amsterdam, Jorrel Hato was an unused sub for the Netherlands, as they defeated Norway 2-1 in a friendly. As touched on earlier, they will face Ecuador in their final game on Tuesday.

To finish off, Enzo Fernandez started for Argentina as they faced Mauritania in a friendly. After 17 minutes of the game, the Chelsea man gave his side the lead, for his sixth international goal on his 39th appearance for his country. They would win the game 2-1.

The World Champions will play Zambia on Tuesday night in their final game of the break.

Just to quickly go over Thursday's events, Malo Gusto played 90 minutes for France as they defeated Brazil 2-1 in Boston. They will face Colombia on Sunday evening for their final game of the window.

In the same game, Andrey Santos started for Brazil, whilst Joao Pedro was a second half substitute. They will play Croatia on Tuesday night in their final game of the break.
