The 21-year-old Argentine player did something strange on his TikTok account: he deleted all posts related to Chelsea.

Alejandro Garnacho has not yet managed to maintain consistent performance at Chelsea, alternating with the first team under the new coach, Liam Rosenior, and has become embroiled in controversy at the London club after updating one of his social media profiles in a way that sparked discussion.

The 21-year-old Argentine footballer removed all content related to Chelsea from his personal TikTok account and began resharing videos from his previous stint at Manchester United, in which he appears as the protagonist. In the comments, users are asking him to return to the club.

These actions, which come after a series of public statements in which he expressed his affection for his former team, could expose Garnacho to an internal sanction similar to the one Enzo Fernandez recently received.

With this attitude on social media, Garnacho reinforced his bond with Manchester United fans by sharing a video of a supporter dedicating a tribute to him, a gesture that coincided with the removal of his Chelsea-related content on TikTok (but not on Instagram).

This reaction also comes shortly after the player admitted, in statements to Premier League Productions, that he had felt "pain" over his departure from Old Trafford. His departure, in his words, came after a series of disagreements with then-coach Ruben Amorim, who reportedly suggested in front of his teammates that he should look for a new football destination, the Daily Mail indicated.

In recent days, the deletion of videos about Chelsea and the active promotion of memories of United have been subject to interpretation. Many see these moves as a sign of Garnacho's discontent with his current situation or a longing for his previous time in northern England.

The player was understanding regarding the reasons for his departure: "Maybe I do (regret it), because I loved that club. They gave me confidence from the start, they took me from Spain to the academy, then to the first team. I received love from the club, from the fans, from the stadium, everything was really good," the young Argentine said days ago.

This attitude from the young attacker has once again reignited the debate over a possible sanction from the Chelsea leadership, especially given the recent precedent set by Enzo Fernandez, who was sidelined for two matches after stating that he had a particular fondness for the city of Madrid. That comment, made during an interview, came amid rumors of Real Madrid's interest in signing him.

Despite his recent gestures toward Manchester United, Garnacho emphasized his happiness at being at Chelsea. "I am proud to be here, but with United I have nothing bad to say about the club, about anyone at the club or about my teammates," he said.

Among his most notable statements, the attacker explained the reason for his gratitude toward the Old Trafford club: "Maybe I do, because I loved that club. They gave me confidence from the start. They brought me from Spain to the academy, and then they promoted me to the first team. It was like four or five years, and I received incredible affection from everyone."

A potential sanction against Garnacho is not a done deal and, for now, remains speculation. It is worth remembering that the London club also opted not to take disciplinary action against defender Marc Cucurella following his own public comments about the team.
