After a two-match suspension for his comments regarding Real Madrid, Chelsea fans are asking: Will Enzo Fernandez be available for Saturday's match against Manchester United?

Enzo Fernandez is available again for Saturday’s match against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge. The midfielder missed the last two matches due to a club suspension related to his comments about a possible move to Real Madrid.

In a news conference before the match, Rosenior confirmed that the 25-year-old midfielder has trained well and will return to the squad. “Enzo has been with the group and has worked very well. Everything remains normal for the match,” the Chelsea coach explained. “He rejoined this week, and the atmosphere has been excellent. As for his dedication and commitment, Enzo has been exceptional.”

Fernandez received a disciplinary sanction after being linked to Real Madrid, admitting he did not know whether he would stay at Chelsea after the summer and expressing his desire to live in the Spanish capital. Rosenior stood firm and said the player, who had served as captain in Reece James’ absence, “had crossed a line.”

In his two matches away, Chelsea beat Port Vale 7-0 in the FA Cup but lost 3-0 to Manchester City in the Premier League. His return strengthens a midfield that suffered without him.

In addition to Fernandez’s return, Rosenior said Trevoh Chalobah is close to playing again. The defender has not played since Paris Saint-Germain eliminated Chelsea from the Champions League, but he is already training at Cobham.

“Trevoh trained today, but not at 100%; it was a modified training session,” Rosenior said. “We will make a decision, but he is very close.” However, captain Reece James, injured since the match against Newcastle, does not yet have a return date. “Reece is further away,” Rosenior added.

Levi Colwill is progressing quickly in his recovery from a torn ACL and could reappear for Chelsea this season. The center back will play a closed-door friendly with the under-21 reserve team on Friday to regain fitness.

Rosenior trusts that the England international can debut with the first team before the end of the season and said: “I hope we see Levi soon, he is an exceptional player and a leader in the locker room. Such a long injury requires an extensive rehabilitation period. I want to make sure he is at 100% physically before considering him for the first team.”

On Saturday, Chelsea hosts United at Stamford Bridge in a key match for Champions League qualification: the Blues, sixth with 48 points, can cut the gap to third place, which United holds with 55.
