A Bournemouth player ends his contract at the end of the season. Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea are already after him. He can leave for free, and that has driven the giants of the Premier League crazy.

Argentine defender Marcos Senesi is at the center of intense transfer market activity in Europe. According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea have intensified their interest in the Argentine national team defender in recent weeks, with his contract at Bournemouth set to expire at the end of the season.

His standout performance in the Premier League and his status as a free agent have intensified competition among these clubs, all of which are willing to offer him lucrative contracts.

According to information published on the English site, Senesi, 28, faces the possibility of leaving Bournemouth for no transfer fee, which has increased pressure from the top Premier League teams to secure his signing.

Both Liverpool and Manchester United have pushed forward with formal negotiations, while Chelsea has also held conversations with the defender’s entourage to bolster their defense for the next cycle.

The British outlet stressed that the Argentine player had already been offered to different clubs earlier this year, although the approaching transfer window sharpened interest from the main English clubs. The option of staying in the Premier League is gaining strength, especially due to the insistence of the mentioned clubs on securing his signing at no acquisition cost.

However, TEAMtalk warned that Senesi also has suitors outside England, as Barcelona remains in contact with his entourage. Nevertheless, sources cited by the outlet say the Catalan club has not yet advanced a concrete offer, as it prioritizes signing Alessandro Bastoni, the Inter Milan defender. The economic difficulties facing the Spanish club keep open the possibility of the Argentine landing at one of the English giants.

The report indicated that Senesi is waiting for news from Barcelona, although his inner circle encourages him to prioritize staying in England, where he has established himself as one of the most consistent defenders in the competition.

Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea are all prepared to make a formal offer, aware of the uncertainty surrounding the Spanish team and the advantage offered by the immediacy of negotiations in the Premier League.

The British publication highlighted that, in Liverpool’s case, the leadership is keeping the door open to add another center back, amid the imminent arrival of Jeremy Jacquet and uncertainty over Ibrahima Konate’s future. Manchester United, for its part, is looking to renew its defensive line, while Chelsea is evaluating alternatives to strengthen its squad for next season.

In this context, the English clubs consider the Argentine defender a proven top-tier alternative, with international experience and proven adaptation to British football. So far this season, the center back, who is competing for a spot on Lionel Scaloni’s roster for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, has played 33 matches, providing four assists.

The sports news portal stressed that interest in Senesi has surged in the final stretch of the season, and the player’s final decision will depend on the progress of negotiations both in England and Spain. Those close to the player insist the priority is to secure sporting stability and continuity in a competitive league, while they await decisions regarding Barcelona’s definitive stance.

Meanwhile, both the site ‘Fichajes’ and the British newspaper ‘The i Paper’ claim that Marcos Senesi has already decided his future. All signs indicate that the Argentine defender will leave Bournemouth at the end of the season, and after negotiations with several clubs, his most likely destination is Liverpool.

Although he also received offers from Chelsea and Manchester United, as well as interest from Juventus and Roma, Anfield appears to be the favorite to finalize his signing. This choice has led Manchester United to focus its search on other defenders, such as Brazilian defender Murillo of Nottingham Forest, while Chelsea continues to evaluate alternatives to strengthen its back line.
