Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers questions the €130M valuation attached to him amid interest from Chelsea and Arsenal, suggesting he may not be worth that amount.

The topic of Chelsea's interest in Morgan Rogers has stalled a bit. With the World Cup entering increasingly important stages, the player remains strongly focused on the England national team as it advances in the tournament.

However, the Aston Villa player spoke candidly about his market value (or at least the value being discussed in any possible transfer). The rumors that place Rogers in London, whether at Arsenal or Chelsea, mention the stratospheric figure of £130 million.

The player said about it: "I'm not sure if I'm worth that! Of course, it's nice to hear that from people, but I don't let the outside noise dictate to me. I'm just going to keep focused, keep being me."

With this high figure, the certainty that some London club will sign him is increasingly smaller, because these clubs already have very important figures in those positions. Rogers' "10" position is the one that Cole Palmer normally covers at Stamford Bridge, who is looking to rediscover the great level he showed us a couple of seasons ago.

Also, with the possibility of playing again alongside his attacking accomplice, Nicolas Jackson, it would be very difficult for them to replace him or move him out of position. Without forgetting, clearly, the team's top scorer during the past season, Joao Pedro. Who is not a classic center forward and can also do the work of an attacking midfielder or even play on the wings.

The Brazilian got tired of demonstrating his quality so much, something that filled him with awards and nominations; for example, he was named Player of the Season at Chelsea and was nominated for Signing of the Season by the Premier League, an award that would end up being won by Senne Lammens of Manchester United.

Another player who could stop the idea of signing the Aston Villa player is Julio Enciso. The Paraguayan attacking midfielder currently plays at Strasbourg in Ligue 1, Chelsea's sister club. With the recent demonstration of quality he had during the Round of 16 of the World Cup, when Paraguay held off the constant attack of the powerful French artillery for 70 minutes.

Enciso was the only weapon up front who attempted counterattacks in which he was always outnumbered, but he fought incessantly to be able to give something to his team, something truly admirable, and that caught the attention of the fans.

Because of this, it would not be strange for Chelsea to request the player's transfer to Stamford Bridge, since this would probably be free or for a very low cost, and the player's quality, as well as his extensive wear and tear, has already been demonstrated on the most important stage of football.
