Crystal Palace are back in Europa League action as they face Turkish side Beşiktaş.
Welcome back to another live match day hub, as Crystal Palace take on Turkish side Beşiktaş.
Fulltime: Beşiktaş 2-2 Palace.
A really good response from the weekend for Palace, and a highly improved performance across the pitch.
Second Half
88' 2-2 Great chance for Palace, excellent cross from Osorio but Nketiah can't get ahead of the defender.
82' 2-2 Big problem for Palace as Jørgen Strand Larsen goes down off the ball holding his ankle. The red card challenge has caused that, and it doesn't look good at all for JSL.
81' 2-2 Palace denied a penalty. Kamada played in by Wharton and he's dragged down from behind but the ref waves it away, as does VAR. Questionable decision.
77' 2-2 RED CARD BEŞIKTAŞ. Straight red for an atrocious tackle on Strand Larsen. Awful.
73' 2-2 Beşiktaş draw level. Junior Olaitan skips beyond Kamada and Osorio and drives a shot from the edge of the box.
71' 1-2 Pino is replaced by Osorio.
68' 1-2 Palace doing really well. Smart defending from the entire squad.
60' 1-2 Subs for Palace on the hour mark. Jean-Philippe Mateta and Dwight McNeil replaced by Strand Larsen and Sarr.
54' 1-2 GOOOOOAAALLLLL PALACE! Excellent from Mateta, slams the shot from close range but the work before is excellent to open the space. He's been fantastic tonight.
52' 1-1 GOOOOAAAAALLLLLLL!!! VAR check it and overturn the decision. Khalaili with a great ball into the box and a superb finish from Pino to score his third Europa League goal of the season.
51' 1-0 Goal for Palace but disallowed for offside. Pino with the finish.
46' 1-0 We're back underway!
Halftime Beşiktaş 1-0 Palace
Frustration is the main feeling. Palace have been excellent, a much improved first half, but the Eagles are down at the break.
The overall performance has been strong. Good defending, neat passing patterns and the press has been excellent. A slight switch off defensively, but a really good pass and finish put the hosts 1-0 up.
Wharton looks much stronger, and his influence on the final third has been incredibly noticeable too.
Yéremy Pino looks like Palace's best player by some distance too. Everything good goes through him. Mateta's presence in the side has also made a positive impact too.
It's all about the reaction in the second half now. Palace can't afford to drop their heads.
First Half
45+2' 1-0 Goal for Beşiktaş. Wilfried Ndidi scores with the home side's first attempt on target in the half. Ndidi makes a run straight through the Palace defence and finishes well.
34' 0-0 Mateta comes close again, this time from the resulting corner. He's bullied the Beşiktaş defenders so far, and should probably be on the scoresheet by now.
33' 0-0 Side netting from Khalaili. Palace are on top big time here. Need to capitalise.
30' 0-0 Huge chance for Mateta. Wharton swings the corner in and the Frenchman meets it on the volley, but his powerful strike is saved well by Nubel in goal.
21' 0-0 Another chance for Palace, this time Mitchell goes close. Great pass through to him, he drives beyond the Beşiktaş backline but can't get his attempt on target.
16 0-0 Mateta goes close again. Great volleyed ball through from Wharton and Mateta attempts to hit it first time over his shoulder, narrowly missing wide of the left post.
15' 0-0 Wilfried Ndidi is shown the game's first yellow after hacking down Pino after some excellent pressing again. The subsequent freekick finds Richards, who heads just over the bar.
13' 0-0 Great move from Palace. Wharton finds Pino who controls with his chest before returning to Wharton who overlaps inside the box. His cross is slightly ahead of Mateta.
10' 0-0 Palace have reached the ten minute mark without conceding. I'm not going to remind you what the score was at this point last week.
9' 0-0 Good work down the right from Beşiktaş but Khalaili clears well. Palace go up the other end and Mateta does well but loses the ball eventually.
7' 0-0 Goal disallowed. Mateta slightly offside in the build up. Great start from Palace but it's ruled out.
IMAGO / BSR Agency6' 0-1 GOOOOALLLLLLL JEAN -PHILIPPEEE MATETAAAAAA. A great move started with a long pass from Wharton. Neat play inside the box and the ball falls to Mateta who finishes well.
1' 0-0 We're underway in Istanbul. COME ON YOU PALACE!
IMAGO / ZUMA Press WireLineups!
The big new for Palace is that Dwight McNeil starts on the right ahead of both Ismaila Sarr and Darío Osorio.
Jean-Philippe Mateta also returns to the starting eleven, with Strand Larsen dropping to the bench.
Walter Benítez makes his 50th European appearance.
Leandro Trossard starts for the hosts, but captain and star midfielder Orkun Kökçü.
