Crystal Palace return to Premier League action with a daunting trip to Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
Returning after the International break in such excellent form has got Palace fans dreaming of another special end to the season.
The club are in the mix still for qualifying for Europe via their Premier League position, while having reached the Conference League semi-finals, they are three games away from a third trophy in two seasons.
They have that to look forward to on Thursday, but before they crack into preparations for Shakhtar Donetsk, they must travel to Anfield.
Form Guide
Palace have won two, drawn one and lost one since returning from the international break, but the loss, a 2-1 defeat to Fiorentina in the second leg of the Conference League quarter-final, felt like a win.
That has spirits extremely high at Selhurst Park with players, fans and Oliver Glasner alike all feeling a special end to the season to mirror the FA Cup winning scenes of a year ago.
Liverpool had a disastrous return from the international break when losing 4-0 to Manchester City and 4-0 on aggregate to Paris Saint-Germain in the FA Cup and Champions League quarter-finals respectively.
But in the Premier League they have managed to keep picking up results, defeating Fulham 2-0 at Anfield and beating Everton 2-1 at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with Virgil Van Dijk scoring a 100th minute goal.
Previous Meetings
Liverpool have won 37 of the 69 clashes between the two sides, with Palace taking 18 wins and there have been 14 draws.
The two sides drew the very first match, an FA Cup tie in January 1938, before Liverpool won the subsequent replay.
The sides then didnât meet for 31 years.
Recently though, it has been all Crystal Palace, who have already defeated Liverpool three times this season.
Those wins have come in the Community Shield, Premier League and League Cup, with a 1-1 draw coming late in the season last year, meaning the last time Liverpool beat Palace came in October 2024.
Team News
The big news for Palace fans is that Adam Wharton is fit and is expected to start in the midfield.
Wharton was left out of the 0-0 draw with West Ham due to an abductor injury but he is supposedly going to be ready for a return to play according to his manager.
Wharton was the only doubt for this match, with Cheick Doucoure, Evann Guessand and Eddie Nketiah will not feature in due to long term injuries.
Predicted XI
Crystal Palace (3-4-2-1): Henderson (c); Canvot, Lacroix, Richards; Mitchell, Kamada, Wharton, Munoz; Pino, Sarr; Mateta
Odds
Bet365 have Liverpool as the clear favourites, with the odds at 1/2 in the their favour.

What did Oliver Glasner say?
âI think when you talk before a season and say: âOK, we win once against Liverpoolâ, you would say âyeah, it's goodâ.
âAnd if you say weâd win twice against Liverpool, you would say, âwell, it would be very goodâ. And you say we win three times against Liverpool, it's amazing.
âAnd now we have the opportunity to win four times against Liverpool in one season. I think that's something unique. First of all, you don't play a team like Liverpool four times a year very often.
âAnd on the other side, then having already three wins, that's massive for us, and that's why we're really highly motivated, because maybe this will never happen again, and it's a massive chance.
âThatâs why we are really looking forward to this game at Anfield.â
