Three weeks without Crystal Palace has dawned on us, and if we’re being honest, it’s going to be a long wait for domestic football to return, but what can Palace fans keep an eye on during the break, and where can they keep up with the number of players away with their sides?

There are a total of eleven Palace players away with their nations, whilst Takehiro Tomiyasu was withdrawn from the Japanese squad due to a calf injury.

So who’s been selected and what games could we see them feature in?

Khalaili has had a bright start to his time in South London, and has bridged the loss of Daniel Muñoz really well. His energy and athleticism is perfect for Premier League football, and it’s unsurprising to see him called up for his national side.

It’s all about the Nations League for Israel in this break, as they will play four times across the three weeks, and Khalaili will be hoping to, and should feature heavily.

Israel are currently in League B of the Nations League.

Kamada will travel to the Japan camp on his own after a calf injury has seen Tomiyasu withdraw, but the Palace midfielder will be looking to continue his work from the World Cup as he maintains his position as an important starter for Japan.

Kamada has been playing a more advanced role for Palace this season, which is not something he’s unfamiliar with, having done the same with his national side for some time now.

This break sees Japan only play friendly matches with no competitions to play in.

Timber has been one of the standout players in Palace’s side so far this season, and is making a strong claim to be one of the best signings of the summer too.

His performances were well worthy of a callup to Xavi’s Netherlands side, and it will be great to see him play with so many top players.

His side will compete in the Nations League in League A, and Timber will be hoping to contribute

Palace’s American duo have both had pretty slow starts to the season, Richards in terms of performances and Gozo in terms of appearances.

Richards has played himself back into form though, and put in a very impressive performance against Leeds United. Gozo has only been given small amounts of minutes off the bench and therefore struggled to make an impact.

Both will be hoping that this international break can kick start their Palace seasons properly!
