Palace's international stars kicked off their international breaks with a whole host of differing results and minutes, here's what you might have missed.

Crystal Palace’s international Eagles kickstarted their international break on Thursday, with a varied bunch of results and minutes. With so many players away on international duty over the next three weeks, RoundTable is the best place to keep up to date with all of the news regarding Palace’s players, injury updates and more.

Quinten Timber - Serbia 1-2 Netherlands

After starting in the Netherlands’ 1-1 draw with Germany, Timber was a substitute for Xavi’s side in their second game of the Nations League against Serbia. A dominant Dutch display eventually earned them all three points, AZ Alkmaar’s Mexx Meerdink scoring either side of a Luka Jović strike.

Timber came on to replace Meerdink in the 80th minute, entering the game at the same time as his twin, Arsenal’s Jurrien Timber.

In his ten minute cameo, the Palace man was relatively quiet but played a role in seeing out the win for his side.

Darío Osorio - Canada 1-0 Chile

Palace’s summer signing started for Chile on the left wing, and was their best player in a 1-0 defeat to Jesse Marsch’s Canada, a game where Chile were reduced to two men, playing with nine players for over 40 minutes of the second half.

Osorio put in a well-rounded display, completing 100% of his tackles but also doing good things going forward too, and ended the game as Chile’s highest rated player.

There’s a high chance we see him face off against both Zavier Gozo and Chris Richards in Chile’s next game.

Anan Khalaili - Israel 0-3 Ireland

In one of the international break’s most controversial games, it was somewhat surprising to see the players take to the field, considering Ireland’s deep history of Palestinian support. A number of their players did in fact refuse to play, but those that did tied the win up in just the first half.

Three goals to the good at the break, it was a convincing win for the Irish. Palace’s Anan Khalaili started the game, again in a slightly more advanced position to what he’s been playing under Pierre Sage, and whilst his numbers from the game are relatively solid, he was on the losing side.

Khalaili was replaced in the 76th minute. Israel will now travel to Ireland for the return fixture, due to take place on October 4th.

Jørgen Strand Larsen - Norway 1-2 Portugal

As may be a consistent theme of Strand Larsen’s career as an international footballer, he was once again a substitute for Norway, as Erling Haaland started up top. That decision has often been rewarded, and there was no difference in this game when the Manchester City striker netted a 51st minute equaliser.

Portugal retook the lead just three minutes later, and on the 81st minute mark, Strand Larsen was introduced in place of RB Leipzig's Antonio Nusa.

He touched the ball just four times in his ten minute cameo, making 100% of his passes and doing very little aside from that.
