23:00 Window Shut!

The 2026 summer transfer window has closed and Palace still have three deals waiting completion as listed below. All three are expected to be completed with no issues at all. Palace end the window with four deadline day signings.

22:50 Expecting Darío Osorio, Ben Chilwell and Quinten Timber to round off Palace transfer window

The expectation with ten minutes to go is that Palace end the window with three further signings, as Timber completes a medical and deals for Chilwell and Osorio are finalised too.

22:17 - Breaking - Crystal Palace agree deal to sign Ben Chilwell

20:38 - Borna Sosa's move to 1.FC Koln confirmed

Borna Sosa's deadline day loan move to Koln in Germany has been confirmed by the club, joining Koln for the season with no obligation or option to buy.

20:31 - No one knows where Fofana is going to end up

Fofana has said yes to Palace, but he's also said yes to Sunderland, twice to each. There is no guarantee that Fofana ends up at either side. Not much point taking into consideration what anyone is saying because it is literally changing every five minutes.

20:01 - Crystal Palace saw £30m bid rejected by Mainz for Japanese midfielder and now turning attention to Timber

Crystal Palace saw a £30 million bid rejected by Mainz for Japanese midfielder Kaishu Sano. Mainz considered the mid unacceptable and were not willing to part ways with one of their most important players so late in the window.

The focus has now shifted to Marseille's Quinten Timber, who reportedly has a medical booked with Palace.

19:42 - Justin Devenny joins Stoke for £5m

Crystal Palace midfielder Justin Devenny has left Crystal Palace to join Stoke City for a fee in the region of £5 million, fee now confirmed. Devenny played 67 times for Palace, scoring six goals and assisting twice, including the winning spot kick in the Community Shield against Liverpool.

Crystal Palace academy midfielder Justin Devenny is undergoing a medical at Stoke City ahead of a potential move to the Championship club.

18:30 - Fofana still an option despite push for Osorio

Information suggests that it isn't a case of one or the other when it comes to Malick Fofana and Darío Osorio. Palace have agreed a deal to sign the latter on a season-long loan with a €26m obligation to buy as listed below, and have also improved their offer to Malick Fofana to match that offered by Sunderland!

18:25 - Breaking - Crystal Palace set to sign Darío Osorio from Midtjylland

I've had my wingstop and returned to even more news. Crystal Palace have agreed a loan deal for Midtjylland's Darío Osorio with an obligation to buy for 26m euros. What a signing.

17:00 - Malick Fofana saga takes multiple turns

Since we last spoke, the Malick Fofana saga has taken more turns than Jean-Philippe Mateta's head during his time at Palace.

Sunderland had reportedly offered more money than Palace and the player had chosen them, but now it appears that's not the case and there's a private jet currently flying over Amiens towards London from Lyon.

Suggestions are that the player is not on a plane yet and is waiting to see if Palace step up their interest.

This is the wildest saga of the summer!

16:26 - Fofana offered bumper money from Sunderland

Sunderland have thrown everything they've got at Malik Fofana to convince him to join Regis Le Bris' side. L'equipe are reporting that the Black Cats have offered Fofana and his agents a huge amount of money as they attempt to convince him to sign.

The general feeling within the building at Sunderland is that Fofana has chosen Palace, and they have looked to Benfica's Dodi Lukebakio as a potential alternative.

There's still uncertainty within this saga.

15:56 - Excl: Crystal Palace to revisit Joel Ordóñez deal in January

Crystal Palace are set to revisit a potential deal for Club Brugge's Ecuadorian central defender Joel Ordóñez in January after he failed a medical at the club over the weekend.

Ordóñez has been out of action since breaking a metatarsal at the World Cup, and whilst the initial thought was that he'd be fit within 4-8 weeks, it appears the injury is worse than first anticipated.

Palace had considered using the injury to lower the asking price but the deal fell flat as deadline day approached.

Whilst Palace could still sign him in January, interest is likely to be much broader and stiff competition will be faced for his signature.

Millwall could offer Romain Esse a lifeline as they enter the race to sign him on loan for the 2026/27 season. Esse looked almost guaranteed to move to Club Brugge on a permanent deal but that move collapsed due to the Belgian side's finances.

A loan move is the best option for Esse, who will not play for Pierre Sage this season.

14:09 - Malick Fofana to Crystal Palace is a done deal!

Crystal Palace have successfully secured the hijack of Malick Fofana from Lyon. The winger had agreed a deal with Sunderland and was set to undergo a medical but Pierre Sage was adamant Palace sign Fofana and the new manager has got his man.

Fofana signs in for a deal worth almost £35 million, and will sign a contract until  2031.

Academy 'keeper Joe Whitworth has left Crystal Palace after a decade in South London. He joins Wigan Athletic on a free transfer which includes a significant sell-on clause.

13:50 - Malick Fofana has chosen Crystal Palace!

Hijack succesful?! Crystal Palace appear to have pinched Malick Fofana from under Sunderland's nose, the difference being Pierre Sage's pitch to the player. He's now set to sign a five year deal with the South London club!!!

13:39 - Succesful hijack could trigger Sarr sale

If Palace are able to successfully hijack Sunderland's move for Malick Fofana, it could open the door for Ismaïla Sarr to depart for Liverpool, according to a report from Gary Jacob at The Times.

Palace had closed the door on a potential sale but could be open to a move if Fofana is signed.

12:23pm - Justin Devenny could yet depart

Midfielder Justin Devenny could yet leave Crystal Palace this summer, with Scottish champions Celtic interested. The Scottish giants are interested in Devenny but prefer a loan move, whilst Palace want a permanent sale for the Northern Ireland international.

12:21pm - David Ozoh nearing move away

Midfielder David Ozoh is nearing a permanent transfer to former side Derby County who he spent two seasons with on loan in the last two years. Ozoh is not in Palace's plans and his contract ends next summer, which has seen Palace look to cash in on him.

No movement yet as Ismaïla Sarr looks set to stay in South London.

11:56am - Lamine Camara proving to be complex move

Palace's intent going into deadline day was to go 'all in' on Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara after a move to Chelsea appeared to have fallen through due to issues with agents.

Palace had been tracking Camara for some time, but this morning it appears that Chelsea are going back in for him, and have had a bid worth around £40 million rejected by Monaco.

11:53am - Palace considering shock move for Kaishu Sano

Palace are considering a shock move for Mainz's Japanese midfielder Kaishu Sano as they continue to search for midfield upgrades. Sano had an excellent World Cup, but he doesn't solve the issues in squad as he will also be going to the Asia Cup over the winter months.
