Everton have a number of players on international duty, and some of those have been in action already.
With it being the international break, Everton have a number of players performing around the world, but not in a royal blue shirt.
The Toffees have plenty of players currently away with their respective countries, including the likes of James Garner, Jarrad Branthwaite, Jordan Pickford, and Brennan Johnson.
That leaves a minimal number of players remaining at Finch Farm over the next few weeks, especially considering David Moyes already has a small squad to work with.
It's an opportunity for players to go out and express themselves for their countries, especially those who have struggled with game time under Moyes so far this season.
Everton already have a number of players who have represented their countries so far during the international break, with plenty of fixtures still remaining over the coming weeks.
Everton stars on international duty
Jake O'Brien played 90 minutes for Republic of Ireland against Kosovo in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday evening. Ireland were battered by Kosovo for 90 minutes, conceding 22 shots, with eight of those being on target, while only recording three themselves.
It's safe to say O'Brien had plenty to do, but he couldn't help his country from suffering a 1-0 defeat. O'Brien produced seven defensive contributions throughout, playing on the right-hand side of a back three.
Everton winger Johnson was also in action for his country. Wales suffered a 1-0 defeat away at Portugal, with Johnson playing the full 90 minutes.
The former Crystal Palace man was deployed on the left-hand side of attack, producing just one shot from a tight angle.
On Friday morning, Harrison Armstrong played the full 90 minutes for England U20s vs Italy. The youngsters won 3-1 thanks to goals from Shea Lacey, Mikey Moore, and Jesse Derry.
Armstrong played in midfield alongside Liverpool's Trey Nyoni and Sunderland's Chris Rigg.
The award for being the first player to score for their country goes to Kai Hutchison. The young striker found the back of the net for Scotland U17s in a 5-0 victory over Real Murcia.
The youngster struck in the first half, wearing the number nine shirt for his country.
Who's up next?
Braiden Graham's Northern Ireland play their first game of the international break on Friday at 5pm, facing Georgia away from home. However, Graham has been left out of the squad and won't feature.
Vitalii Mykolenko, who has been speaking about Everton on international duty, could be in action on Friday at 7:45pm, with Ukraine facing Hungary.
Tyler Dibling and Tyrique George's England U21s face Kazakhstan at 7:30pm.
