The Dell Family are believed to be interested in buying Everton.

Everton's future has reached a point of uncertainty again.

The Friedkin Group recently announced that they would be looking to sell the club, but it's unclear how long it's going to take before a sale is complete. How the January transfer window will look remains to be seen, and after years of uncertainty, it's creeping in once again.

The summer transfer window was a complete mess under their leadership, with a lack of money spent despite the club bringing in funds through sales. Investment is needed in David Moyes' squad, and Evertonians face a wait to see who is going to take over the club.

According to journalist Lewis Steele, the Dell Family, led by Michael Dell, are interested in buying Everton. Michael is the fourth-richest man in the world, and he is among a number of interested parties.

Dell was listed as the fourth-richest man today (28th November) by Forbes, and he also has a five per cent stake in the Las Vegas Raiders (NFL). The Dell Family were linked with buying Everton before TFG took over.

The report claims that Everton aren't expecting a long, drawn-out process like previously, so hopefully it will be solved in the not-so-distant future.

Whether anything will be resolved in time for the January transfer window remains to be seen, but that does feel incredibly unlikely.

Forbes puts Dell's fortune at a whopping $243 billion, a figure barely seen in the Premier League. Dell now sits behind Larry Page, Jeff Bezos, and Elon Musk in Forbes' billionaire rankings.

In the past, the Dell family have been heavily linked with purchasing many football clubs, including Sunderland.

Everton need solution quickly

Whatever happens, Everton need a solution as soon as possible.

There is uncertainty surrounding the club once again, and with Moyes' contract expiring next summer, Everton need a new ownership to arrive and make a decision regarding his future.

The Toffees don't want Moyes just offered another deal to ensure stability with a takeover taking too long, and instead a new owner needs to come in and assess the situation.

There's every chance they'll be hoping to bring in their own man, and that should be a decision made by them and not TFG.

It's an uncertain period for the Toffees, and with the squad in a difficult place, there needs to be plans in place ahead of the next summer transfer window.
