Fulham’s final match before the international break sees them take on Manchester United at Craven Cottage.

The Cottagers have enjoyed their best week of the season, having beaten West Ham in the Carabao Cup and holding out for a 0-0 draw with Liverpool at Anfield.

Both of those results have given Fulham fans hope that they have turned a corner after three straight losses to begin their season.

The full backs bombing up so far forward seems to be a thing of the past, with Arbeloa realising there is a time and a place for the left and right backs to be in such an attacking position.

And those small tactical tweaks have clearly made an impact, with a first Premier League point coming at Anfield.

It has been a far from easy start for Fulham - facing Chelsea, Sunderland and Crystal Palace, as well as Liverpool and then Manchester United in their first block of matches.

And now all attention turns to United.

We spoke to Manchester United Roundtable’s Callum Foy, about the match and what Fulham can expect.

What can Fulham expect from Manchester United?

“Manchester United are not exactly in the best of form – four points from four Premier League games is not what you would call brilliant, especially considering United have faced two newly promoted sides and 10-man Everton.

“If Michael Carrick can get his players playing, then this game should not be much of a contest, given United have won eight of 10 at Craven Cottage and remain unbeaten. But they typically play in red…and it’s blue this weekend.

“Anyway, as for how they play, Manchester United are trying [and failing] to dominate possession and break down low blocks.

“They like to play into the midfield and then look out wide, but the best attacks have come from direct balls into Marcus Rashford or even Shea Lacey.

“Watch out for him this weekend.

“Without the ball, United will press in a 4-2-4, so if Fulham can bypass United’s wingers, they’re in big trouble.

“Matthijs de Ligt, Luke Shaw and Carlos Baleba have returned to the squad this weekend.”

In a game between two sides who are not exactly in flying form, Fulham will be desperate not to join Tottenham as one of only two sides without a win at the international break.

Following Coventry’s shock 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest, the Cottagers need to get something and fast and a result against the Red Devils would be an excellent way to start.
