As the international break continues to rumble on, Fulham's stars continue to be involved and there were three players involved for Fulham on Monday night - find out who and how they got on below!
As the international break continues to amble on, Fulham’s Timothy Castagne, Shea Charles and Hugo Larsson were in action for their respective nations on Monday night.
The longest international break outside of a major tournament continues on, but for the players selected for their nations, a return to domestic football is still some way off.
On Monday night, the action continued in the Nations League for three of the Cottagers’ squad, and there were some mixed results.
We take you through a summary of Monday’s matches.
Timothy Castagne (Belgium 0-1 France)
Fulham right-back Timothy Castagne once again played a full 90 minutes for Belgium, but he was unable to prevent his side from suffering a 1-0 defeat to France.
After an impressive 2-0 win over Italy in the first match of a daunting group that contains three of the big dogs in European football, Castagne lined up against a France side equipped with some of the most talented attacking players in Europe.
Belgium dug in well and it looked as though Mark Van Bommel was set to earn his second strong result in a matter of matches.
That was until late in the second half, when former Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise continued his incredible year and scored for Les Bleus in the 88th minute.
Shea Charles (Northern Ireland 0-0 Hungary)
Fulham’s new midfield signing was the hero of the day in Northern Ireland’s 1-0 win over Georgia in their first match back in League B, but there was to be no heroics in Belfast.
Facing a Hungary side that fell to defeat against Ukraine, neither side was particularly threatening, with Shea Charles’ brother Pierce not having to make a single save until the 90th minute in the Northern Ireland goal.
Unfortunately for Michael O'Neill's side, there was not much action at either end, but the draw is still enough to see Northern Ireland sit top of Group B2 after two matches, and they have yet to concede a goal.
Hugo Larsson (Sweden 3-1 Poland)
Another new Fulham midfield signing, Hugo Larsson, was not involved in his side’s 2-1 win over Romania, but he got his first minutes of the campaign as Sweden were once again victorious.
The new Cottagers star came on in the 80th minute, as Sweden took control of Group B4 with six points from a possible six.
Larsson himself was unable to make any major input into the match but he did complete 100% of his passes.
