Fulham's Josh King is attracting interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs, with a potential move this summer on the cards if a club can meet Fulham's valuation of King.

Fulham star Josh King is attracting attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, according to transfer expert Ekrem Konur.

The 19-year-old has begun the season in fine form for the Cottagers, scoring two goals in five Premier League matches so far this season.

That form has seen him very clearly stand out from the rest of the side, in a Cottagers team that have been struggling for any sort of form, sitting currently on two points from their opening five matches.

King, though has routinely been Fulham’s standout player and even provided the crucial assist in the 3-2 win over West Ham in the Carabao Cup.

That has led to clubs beginning to identify him as a potential new signing, with his talent already extremely obvious and the potential to become even better extremely clear.

Just how good he can become was clear when Thomas Tuchel took King to the USA for the pre-World Cup training camp, along with Alex Scott and Rio Ngumoha.

While King then remained with the England U21s, rather than earning selection in the senior squad, he was earmarked by Tuchel as being extremely close to selection for the Nations League matches with Spain, Czechia and Croatia.

Now, King has attracted the attention of Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool, as well as German side Borussia Dortmund.

Mikel Arteta is reportedly a big fan of King, as are Liverpool, who have supposedly been keeping tabs on the England U21 star for some time.

Arsenal have plenty of talent in that area already, not least Martin Odegaard and Eberechi Eze, while Kai Havertz can also operate in the No.10 position.

Liverpool have Florian Wirtz there, but the German has so far been poor in the Premier League.

Borussia Dortmund, who have King’s England U21 colleague Jobe Bellingham in their ranks, are renowned for being an excellent place for young players to develop - with Jadon Sancho, Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham prime examples of players who were at the Bundesliga side before going on to make big moves elsewhere.

Konur makes it clear that at this stage, Fulham are yet to receive a concrete offer for King, whose contract lasts until 2029.

The Cottagers are said to be against any sort of sale in January, but if the circumstances and offer (expected to be no less than £50 million) work for Fulham at the time, then an offer could well be accepted.

This is of course no more than a rumour at this stage, but should it amount to anything more than that, it would be disastrous for Fulham, who lost their best player in Harry Wilson last summer and will be hoping to keep hold of all of their best talents going forward.
