Fulham return to Craven Cottage for the first time since May as they host Bundesliga side Stuttgart in their final pre-season friendly.
With just nine days to go until Arbeloa will line up at the same stadium for the real deal against local rivals Chelsea, this friendly represents rather a lot more significance than the ones that have gone before.
Fulham’s form thus far in pre-season has been shaky, to say the least, having lost to Crystal Palace before a controversial 2-2 draw with Malaga at the Rosaleda that ended with heated scenes after a disagreement regarding a penalty shootout.
Now they will look to piece it all together against a very strong outfit who have both been in top form in pre-season and who are in the Champions League this upcoming campaign.
It is a clash that you will not want to miss, and so we take you through all the information you need for this afternoon’s fixture.
When are Fulham playing Stuttgart?
Fulham face Stuttgart at Craven Cottage on Saturday, August 15.
The match will kick off at 4pm UK time.
How can I watch Fulham v Stuttgart?
You can watch the match via FFCtv, which you can access through fulhamfc.com and the official Fulham app.
Each match pass is priced at £6.99.
How are Stuttgart looking in pre-season?
Stuttgart have been hugely impressive thus far in pre-season, winning four of their five matches and drawing the other one.
They have also managed to score 25 goals in the process as they look to start the new season, as they finished the last.
They finished fourth in the Bundesliga season, securing themselves a spot in the Champions League and also reaching the DFB Pokal final.
They put in a notable shift against Premier League side Everton last week and powered to a 3-1 win to capture some attention.
They now prepare for more Premier League opposition in Fulham, who of course are a bit of an unknown quantity with a new manager and several new signings.
Who is Stuttgart’s key man?
Stuttgart are a team with a lot of ability as proven by their fourth placed finish last time out but there is one man in particular who is especially crucial.
That is forward Ermedin Demirovic, who has notched 32 goals in his last two seasons for Stuttgart and the Bosnia striker has now had three successive seasons scoring double digit goals in the Bundesliga.
