It is the end of the international break and Fulham's stars are set to return to Craven Cottage, but in the meantime, how did they get on?

It has been a long, long time coming but the international break has finally come to an end and domestic action is almost back.

Fulham face Ipswich on Saturday in a match of huge importance for the Cottagers as they try to get their season back on track, having failed to win in the Premier League thus far.

But, before we can turn our attention back to action in the top flight, we look back at all the Fulham players who were involved over the international break.

David Affengruber (Austria)

It was a productive international break for David Affengruber, who scored his first Austria goal in a 3-1 win over Kosovo.

He also played 45 minutes as his side drew 2-2 with the Republic of Ireland, with Fulham’s new centre-back not involved in Austria’s other matches against Israel and Kosovo.

Joachim Andersen (Denmark)

Joachim Andersen played in every single minute of Denmark’s Nations League campaign over the international break.

That saw the defender keep two clean sheets, as Denmark defeated Wales 2-0 and 1-0, but also slipped to defeats against Norway (3-2) and Portugal (4-2).

Sander Berge and Oscar Bobb (Norway)

Norway got their Nations League off to a good start with a win over Denmark, but they then slipped to three straight 2-1 defeats - losing to Portugal twice and Wales.

Sander Berge played the full 90 minutes in all four matches, while Oscar Bobb’s minutes were far more sporadic, but he did score against both Denmark and Wales.

Timothy Castagne (Belgium)

Another of Fulham’s key men who played in every single minute of Belgium’s campaign.

They got off to a top start with a 2-0 win away to Italy and also defeated Turkiye 3-0, but they also fell to France, losing to Les Bleus 1-0 and 4-1.

Shea Charles (Northern Ireland)

Of all of Fulham’s players involved in this international break, none shone more than Shea Charles.

The Northern Ireland midfielder scored a dramatic late winner in a 1-0 win over Georgia and continued at an excellent level as his side drew 0-0 against both Hungary and Georgia in Belfast, as well as beating Ukraine 3-0.

Northern Ireland ended the Nations League as the only team not to concede a single goal.

Hugo Larsson (Sweden)

Hugo Larsson was significantly less involved for Sweden than some of the other Fulham players this international break.

He sat on the bench during the 2-1 win over Romania, before coming off the bench against both Poland and the second match against Romania, as well as playing the full 90 minutes in Sweden’s 1-1 draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi (Nigeria)

It was a very mixed international break for Nigeria and that came across in the performances of both Bassey and Iwobi.

They beat Madagascar 2-1 in the first of their Africa Cup of Nations matches, before slipping to a shock 3-0 defeat to Guinea-Bissau.

Iwobi did get an assist in the win over Madagascar and was a strong performer despite the result.

Antonee Robinson (USA)

Antonee Robinson enjoyed a strong international break as the USA won all four of their friendlies, beating Peru, Chile, Mexico and Canada.

Robinson came off the bench against Peru and Canada, but played the full 90 minutes against Chile and Mexico, captaining his country for the first time in the 4-2 triumph over the South American side.

Gonzalo Garcia (Spain U21)

Fulham’s new striker captained Spain U21s against both Finland, in a shock 2-1 defeat and also in Spain’s 7-1 triumph over Romania, in a match in which he scored twice.

He also came off the bench in the 13-0 win over San Marino.

Josh King (England U21)

Josh King had a satisfactory international break individually, after a top start to the season for Fulham.

England were not at their best, though in the U21 European Championship qualifiers, beating Kazakhstan 4-2, before a 0-0 draw with Slovakia and a 3-1 loss to Ireland, with King starting in all three matches.
