The end of the season is going to come thick and fast, so what better time to have an early look at how the Fulham squad can shape up ahead of the new season? There are likely to be plenty of incomings and outgoings, so we will keep you up to date on a monthly basis.
With the international break coming to a close and domestic football due to return this weekend, it is time to have an early look at who will stay and who may go for Fulham this summer.
It looks set to be a summer of immense upheaval at Craven Cottage, with Marco Silva’s future uncertain, while Fulham’s two top goalscorers Harry Wilson and Raul Jimenez look set to leave as things stand.
Pair that with the transfer rumours surrounding Antonee Robinson and it appears that the squad that Fulham end this season with could look a whole lot different from the one they begin the next campaign with.
Links to Ricardo Pepi and Troy Parrott suggest a new man will be leading the line but could there be more to Fulham’s summer plans?
We look at who may stay and who may go from the Cottagers’ squad.
Bernd Leno - Stay
At 34 and with another year on his contract, it would be a surprise if the German is lured away from Craven Cottage.
There is a chance he potentially is demoted to a number two but with other positions likely to be the priority, I’d expect Leno to remain the club’s main man in net for another year.
Benjamin Lecomte - Stay
Another 34-year-old goalkeeper who has a year on his contract.
Lecomte is a steady No.2 and could be a useful man to have with his experience should Fulham make Europe next season.
Antonee Robinson - Stay
There are rumours that Manchester United are interested in signing Robinson but I have a feeling this will not materialise, with Luke Shaw and Patrick Dorgu in their ranks.
Robinson has just returned from injury which may help Fulham to keep him, but at 28, if they were to recoup a major profit from the US star they bought from Wigan in 2020, it would probably need to be this summer.
Ryan Sessegnon - Stay
Sessegnon has become an important player at Craven Cottage, playing in 28 matches this season.
His contract does run out in June, but I am expecting him to sign a new deal to remain in a Fulham jersey for a few more years yet.
Calvin Bassey - Stay
A year that has seen Bassey come into his own for Fulham could see some interest but there is a big advantage the Cottagers have - Bassey is not going to the World Cup.
He has another year left on his deal and at 26, Fulham will likely want to extend that sooner rather than later.
Joachim Andersen - Stay
Andersen is 29, has another three years left on his contract and appears happy at Craven Cottage - it would be a big shock if he were to leave.
Issa Diop - Stay
Issa Diop, having just made the Morocco squad, is a steady hand in a Fulham side that may need a bit more depth next season.
Jorge Cuenca - Stay
If offers came in from Spain, Cuenca and Fulham could be tempted but if not, Cuenca is a solid player to have as back up and has another two years on his deal.
Kenny Tete - Stay
Tete has two more years left on his deal and is now 30, I would expect he will leave Craven Cottage when that deal expires in 2028.
Timothy Castagne - Stay
Could be one who wants to leave if the opportunity arises for guaranteed first team football but with Castagne still making the Belgium squad and with another year on his deal, I think he will stay.
Sander Berge - Stay
Fulham are fortunate to have Berge on such a long deal until 2029, as the powerful Norwegian feels like the sort of player that a lot of teams are missing.
The fact Fulham have him on such a long contract does mean that if he does depart, they will recoup some heavy compensation.
Sasa Lukic - Stay
The Serbian is solid if not spectacular and does the job he is required to do when asked.
Has another year left so think he stays this summer.
Harrison Reed - Stay
Has become considerably less important for Fulham in the last two seasons but he is still a useful squad player and knows the club well.
His deal expires in 2027, so he could be another who departs next summer.
Tom Cairney - Stay
One last dance before retirement?
Cairney is now 35 and the oldest member of the squad by some distance, he still has played in 20 Premier League matches though and his experience can certainly be useful.
Emile Smith Rowe - Stay
He is a player with immense quality on his day but Fulham will be looking at Harry Wilson and wondering if Smith Rowe could reach consistency later on.
He has another three years left on his contract and looks set to battle with Josh King for minutes.
Josh King - Stay
There is a sense of inevitability that eventually Josh King will move to one of the biggest clubs in the world but for now he looks set to stay.
The England U21 midfielder is still only 19 and has shown more than a little of what he can do.
Kevin - Stay
The Brazilian is a hugely exciting player and has four more years left on his deal at Fulham, could next year be his breakout year?
Alex Iwobi - Stay
Iwobi has become an ever-present in the midfield pivot with Berge and has the adaptability to play on the left too, he won’t be going anywhere.
Oscar Bobb - Stay
Fulham are yet to see the best of Oscar Bobb, but when they do, he will be difficult to keep. Signed a five-and-a-half-year deal in January so he’ll be a Fulham player next season.
Harry Wilson - Leave
Unfortunately, the more that time passes, the more it seems likely that Fulham’s star man is going to leave.
Wilson’s contract expires and there is interest from Aston Villa, Everton, Leeds and Wrexham and it appears whoever has the most enticing package will take Wilson from Fuham.
Samuel Chukwueze - Join permanently
Fulham have only seen glimpses of the Nigerian’s quality but that is enough to want him to stay.
Chukwueze appears to be someone Fulham will sign permanently and see if they can get more consistent moments of quality out of the 26-year-old.
Rodrigo Muniz - Leave
Rodrigo Muniz has four more years left on his contract, so this may be wildly wrong, but he has become a bit-part player at Fulham and has struggled badly with injuries.
His only goal of the entire campaign came against Brighton in Gameweek 1 and he could be deemed surplus to requirements if Fulham secure two forwards.
Raul Jimenez - Leave
The Mexican is almost certain to leave this summer with his contract expiring in June.
He still has the ability to deliver at 34, having scored nine goals this season for Fulham, but it appears it will be the right time for both parties to quite while they are ahead.
Jonah Kusi-Asare - Return after loan
The Swedish youngster arrived at Craven Cottage with much promise from Bayern Munich but has managed only 30 minutes in the Premier League this season.
It seems extremely unlikely that Fulham will try and keep him with the resources they have in the forward line.
