Tottenham Hotspur have joined the growing list of clubs who are pursuing a deal to sign Fulham's Harry Wilson this summer. Wilson's contract expires at the end of the season and although Fulham are desperate to keep him, it is looking increasingly unlikely that he will stay at Craven Cottage.

Tom Masters explains the latest on the Harry Wilson situation.

With the international break reaching a dramatic conclusion as the final six sides qualified for this summer’s World Cup, transfer rumours have continued to swirl.

One of the players who has attracted the most gossip this season has been Fulham’s Harry Wilson, with the Welshman’s contract coming to an end in June.

Roundtable have previously reported interest from Aston Villa and from Everton, while Leeds United and Wrexham are also actively courting the 29-year-old.

Wilson has undoubtedly been Fulham’s star of the season, scoring 10 goals and assisting a further six goals in 29 Premier League appearances thus far.

Those are numbers that have caught the attention of a number of top clubs and Tottenham Hotspur are the latest side to join the queue to sign Wilson, according to TeamTalk’s Graeme Bailey.

In the article, Bailey says: “The race is now intensifying, with Tottenham, under new boss Roberto De Zerbi, ready to re-shape their squad for next season.

“Wilson has emerged as a key target – provided they secure their Premier League status.

“Club sources believe that, despite his age, Wilson’s experience and current form make him an ideal addition who could deliver immediate impact.

“There is a growing feeling within the Tottenham hierarchy that he would significantly strengthen their attacking options.”

Bailey adds that both Liverpool and Manchester United are carefully monitoring Wilson’s form and either side could be persuaded to push to sign Wilson should he maintain his current output levels.

Fulham are desperate to keep Wilson, who joined from Liverpool on a four-year contract in 2022, but with the number of clubs showing interest in him, it is appearing increasingly unlikely that he will be at Craven Cottage next season.

With Marco Silva also yet to sign a new contract and Raul Jimenez’s contract also coming to an end, it could be a summer of significant change in west London.

Silva was a contender for the Spurs job but they opted with Roberto de Zerbi, which leaves the Portuguese’s situation in limbo.

He was offered a contract in October but is still yeet to sign it, with Fulham scrambling to try to keep their manager and star player.

Brentford were ransacked last summer when Thomas Frank went to Spurs and they lost Bryan Mbeumo, Yoane Wissa, Christian Norgaard and Mark Flekken in one window.

Fulham are desperately trying to prevent that from happening to them but in the case of Wilson at least, it is looking less and less likely they will be able to.
