Leeds United Women’s postponed FA Cup first-round tie against Rotherham United Women will now take place on Sunday 1 November, with the Whites set to host Norton & Stockton Ancients if they progress to the second round.

Leeds United Women now know who they could face in the next round of the Women’s FA Cup after the second-round draw was confirmed, with their first-round meeting against Rotherham United Women rearranged following its postponement.

The Whites were originally scheduled to face Rotherham in the first round of the competition, but the tie was postponed because of the stormy weather.

The fixture has now been rearranged for Sunday 1 November, with kick-off at 2pm at the BD Community Stadium.

The winner will host Norton & Stockton Ancients in the second round on Sunday 15 November, meaning Leeds could have another meeting with familiar opposition should they progress this weekend.

Leeds have already faced Norton this season, recording a 2-0 victory on home turf thanks to goals from Amy Woodruff and Drew Greene.

That result will provide a useful reference point for the Whites if they can overcome Rotherham and secure their place in the next round.

However, Simon Wood’s side must first negotiate Sunday's first-round tie, with Rotherham standing between Leeds and the opportunity to continue their FA Cup campaign.

With a place in the second round at stake, the Whites will be looking to make the most of home advantage and avoid an upset against the Millers.

The rearrangement has also had an impact on Leeds' wider fixture schedule.

Their FA Women's National League Cup first-round trip to Liverpool Feds has been postponed as a result, with a new date yet to be confirmed.

The change means Leeds can now focus on their FA Cup meeting with Rotherham before turning their attention to the next stage of the competition, should they progress.

The second-round tie against Norton & Stockton Ancients is scheduled for Sunday 15 November, although further details are still to be confirmed.

For Leeds, the immediate priority remains securing a place in that fixture. Having already beaten Norton 2-0 this season, the Whites will know what it takes to overcome the potential second-round opponents, but they must first deliver against Rotherham to keep their hopes of a cup run alive.

The rearranged first-round tie at the BD Community Stadium kicks off at 2pm on Sunday 1 November.
