Liverpool Player Ratings V Bournemouth: A Dominant Display, Impact Sub Stars & Iraola Wins on South Coast

Andoni Iraola and Liverpool go into the international break with three point after a 1-0 away win against Bournemouth. A goal curtesy of Alexander Isak was enough for the win as the players head off to their respective national teams with back to back wins for the Reds.

A few crucial saves from the Brazilian goalkeeper, who kept LFC in the game at times during the first half and his claiming from crosses into the box in the second half helped the Reds secure the win.

Defended well for the most part, and was always making runs past the left winger when attacking, but lacked much end product.

Had very little to do, but when he was needed he was superb as always.

Sensational again from the young French defender, he looked unbeatable today, and goes into his first senior France squad full of confidence after a brilliant start at Liverpool.

Looked a little shaky at times and struggled to cope with the threat Bournemouth posed on the left hand side, but his work rate was top again.

Often, the player who cleared any danger from the home side, composed on the ball, and defended well when called upon, but the Cherries mainly went down the wing, rather than through the middle.

Constantly trying to make things happen, he took a free kick that was close to finding the top left corner in the first half, and was substituted for the last 10 minutes as he goes off to likely play a big role for Hungary in the Nations League.

Had a shot saved in the first half, and looked dangerous when he got the ball, but was marked well by the Bournemouth full-back. 

A very poor performance from Wirtz, especially in the first half. Misplaced passes, poor touches and giving the ball away in dangerous areas. This international break needs to be a rest for the German playmaker. 

Looked uncomfortable on the right hand side for large parts of the game, but danced down the right wing to set up the winner.

Had little to work with for large parts of the game, but came up with the winning goal for Iraola's side.

Came on for the last 10 minutes and offered an out ball for an under pressure defence, had a chance for a goal, but it was a tame shot in the end.

The English midfielder was outstanding when he came on, breaking up the play, making smart fouls when it was needed and producing a mature performance to secure the three points.

Many have been calling for Nyoni to receive more game time from Andoni Iraola, and he has certainly shown he is ready in the last week after back-to-back standout performances.

Energy, tenacity and hard work when coming on off the bench, all of the attributes that fans will love to see.

After Mamardashvili's performance midweek, some may have thought that Alisson's long- term successor was ready and waiting, but the Brazilian shot-stopper proved that he is still a key pillar of this squad's success.

Made several big saves to keep the Reds in the game, claimed dangerous balls into the box to help alleviate some pressure on his back four, and delivered an overall top performance from Liverpool's number one.
