Just weeks into life at Inter Milan, Curtis Jones is already becoming one of the most talked about figures in Italy.
Do you think Liverpool was right to sell Curtis Jones?

Curtis Jones may still be waiting for his defining moment in an Inter Milan shirt, but the former Liverpool midfielder is already making himself at home in Italy.
Merseyside For Milan
After leaving his boyhood club late in the summer, Jones swapped Merseyside for Milan as Inter finally landed a player they had reportedly been tracking since January.
With his Liverpool contract due to expire in 2027, the Nerazzurri returned for the midfielder and secured a permanent deal as part of their midfield rebuild.
According to reports relayed by Sport Witness, Inter view Jones as a long-term piece of Cristian Chivu’s project rather than somebody expected to transform the side overnight.
That patience could prove important. Jones has shown flashes of the qualities Liverpool supporters became accustomed to, receiving possession in tight areas, carrying the ball through midfield and having the confidence to keep it under pressure.
His decision-making in the final moments can still improve, while reports in Italy highlighted an error against Real Madrid which contributed to a goal.

Yet there appears to be little concern inside Inter. Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport reports that Jones is enjoying life in Milan and has settled quickly away from the pitch. Inter have also embraced his Scouse identity, even producing content in which the Liverpool-born midfielder explains Scouse phrases to an Italian audience.
A recent meet-and-greet reportedly attracted hundreds of supporters, suggesting Jones is already building a connection with his new fanbase despite being in the early stages of his Inter career.
Former Italy international Antonio Cassano has even added to the hype by reportedly claiming Jones is a better player than Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay, a sizeable comparison considering the Scot’s impact in Serie A.
For Liverpool fans, none of this should be particularly surprising. Jones came through the academy and developed into a technically gifted midfielder capable of operating in several roles. His ability was never really the question at Anfield; establishing himself as an undisputed starter amid fierce competition proved more difficult.

Now 25, Italy represents a fresh chapter. With experienced midfielders Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan approaching the latter stages of their careers, Inter seemingly believe Jones can eventually assume greater responsibility.
His Italian adventure has not exploded into life on the pitch just yet. Off it, though, the Scouser from Toxteth is already making Milan feel a little more like home.
