While much of the spotlight before the tournament was focused on teenage sensation Ayyoub Bouaddi, it is El Aynaoui who has emerged as one of Morocco’s standout performers on football’s biggest stage.
The Roma midfielder has delivered a series of composed performances so far, helping Morocco compete against some of the world’s strongest international teams.
His ability to dictate the tempo of matches, recover possession, and link defence with attack has earned praise from scouts and football insiders alike.
Particularly eye-catching were his performances against Brazil and the Netherlands, where El Aynaoui showcased his technical quality, intelligence, and composure under pressure. Those displays have reportedly strengthened his reputation considerably, with several clubs now monitoring his situation ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to reports at Team Talk, representatives acting on behalf of the midfielder have already held discussions with a number of Premier League clubs regarding his availability. Manchester United and Liverpool are believed to be among the leading admirers, but they are far from alone in their interest.
Chelsea, Aston Villa, Brighton, Bournemouth, Newcastle United and Sunderland have also been linked with the Moroccan international. Everton are understood to be following developments closely as they continue assessing potential additions to strengthen their midfield options.
El Aynaoui’s impressive rise has not come as a complete surprise to those who have followed his progress in Serie A. However, his performances on the international stage have elevated his profile significantly, placing him firmly on the radar of some of England’s biggest clubs.
Roma Considering Offers?
Despite the growing speculation, Roma are not actively looking to part ways with the midfielder. However, there is a belief that the Italian side could consider offers if the right proposal arrives during the transfer window. That possibility has encouraged interested clubs to monitor the situation carefully as they weigh up potential moves.
With multiple Premier League teams searching for midfield reinforcements, competition for El Aynaoui’s signature could intensify in the coming weeks. His blend of energy, tactical awareness and technical ability makes him an attractive option for clubs looking to strengthen both immediately and for the future.
As the summer window approaches, Neil El Aynaoui’s name is expected to feature prominently in transfer discussions.
Whether he remains in Rome or takes the next step in his career, his outstanding World Cup performances have ensured he is now one of the most sought-after midfielders on the market.
