0%According to Senegalese journalist Khadim Diakhaté, Liverpool are actively monitoring the 21-year-old, with initial discussions understood to have taken place with his agency.
Liverpool In Race To Sign Diouf
Chelsea are also reportedly keeping tabs on Diouf, suggesting Liverpool could face competition for his signature when the summer 2027 transfer window opens. However, there has been no confirmation of formal negotiations or an official bid.
Diouf only arrived at Brentford in August, completing a move from West Ham United worth a reported £35 million plus £5 million in potential add-ons.
Despite his relatively recent arrival, the defender's performances and potential have seemingly caught the attention of some of England's biggest clubs.

The Senegal international enjoyed an impressive 2025/26 campaign at West Ham, registering five assists in 32 Premier League appearances.
Before moving to England, Diouf established himself at Slavia Prague, contributing seven goals and three assists in 27 league appearances during the 2024/25 season.
His current campaign has been more limited, with Brentford's official statistics recording five appearances, 154 minutes played, six tackles, three interceptions and no goals or assists.
Nevertheless, his first Premier League start against Aston Villa offered another glimpse of his potential. Diouf recorded 64 touches, won four tackles and delivered four crosses during an impressive attacking display.

With Milos Kerkez struggling for consistency this season, Liverpool could view Diouf as an exciting alternative capable of providing genuine competition at left-back.
His pace, physicality and willingness to push forward would make him an intriguing option for Andoni Iraola's Liverpool side.
Naturally comfortable operating as either a traditional left-back or an attacking wing-back, Diouf offers the versatility to contribute defensively while providing width and dangerous deliveries into the penalty area.
His Premier League experience would also be an advantage, although his limited minutes at Brentford this season remain a consideration.
Brentford Price Tag
Crucially, Brentford are unlikely to entertain a cut-price departure, particularly after investing heavily in the defender and securing him on a five-year contract.
For Liverpool, the interest makes sense. El Hadji Malick Diouf is young, athletic and possesses considerable room for development.
Whether that admiration develops into a concrete summer approach remains to be seen, but the Reds appear to have another promising Premier League talent firmly on their radar.
