The unfortunate spell of the goalkeeper at Old Trafford would be coming to an end, and the Cameroonian would continue his career in the Turkish Super Lig with Trabzonspor.

André Onana appears to have his days numbered at Manchester United, as after the signing of Senne Lammens on the last day of the transfer window, the goalkeeper has accelerated his exit from Old Trafford.

The constant errors of the Cameroonian condemned him during his time with the Red Devils, and, just like Alejandro Garnacho or other players, they were erased by Rúben Amorim for this campaign.

Man United keeper André Onana, close to Trabzonspor

According to information from Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United and Trabzonspor already have a verbal agreement for the signing of the goalkeeper on loan.

The only thing missing is the yes from the goalkeeper, who, according to various reports, had maintained the idea of staying in Manchester and fighting for a starting place, but the arrival of Lammens has changed the landscape.

Onana, 29, had one last opportunity in this campaign, but he couldn't take advantage of it either. Manchester United were eliminated from the Carabao Cup by a team from the English Fourth Tier, Grimsby Town, in a dramatic penalty shootout, and the African was singled out.

The new goalkeeper for the Red Devils was set to be Dibu Martínez, but the high price set by the Villans for the Argentine ended up complicating everything.

Onana arrived at Manchester United from Inter Milan, where he had achieved great performance.

In total, he played 102 matches wearing the Red Devils shirt, in which he conceded 150 goals and on only 24 occasions was he able to keep a clean sheet.
