Man Utd U18s 1-0 Man City U18s

Like the first team, Manchester United's U18s opened their Premier League (North) campaign today, facing Manchester City, with many describing it as the title decider early on.

Darren Fletcher's side were narrowly beaten (1-0), despite looking the better side for much of the game.

The U18s face Charlton Athletic in the Premier League Cup on Tuesday, 25 August, before returning to league action against Everton the following Saturday.
