Manchester United have two more games before the next international break: Roma and Aston Villa.

The first 45 minutes was comfortably United's best football since the 4-0 win vs Sabah FK, but it was not enough to even score.

Every Manchester United fan loves Michael Carrick, that became even more evident on Sunday afternoon.

But have we reached the point where he just cannot come back? He seems to be taking training today, so maybe he'll get the Chelsea game, but surely there's no coming back, is there?

Erik ten Hag has revealed he believes Michael Carrick should not be sacked, despite the recent poor run.

Carrick is coming under pressure, and it's a tough run of games for Manchester United.

Michael Carrick has been criticised for not showing enough emotion on the sidelines, or being too calm when everything seems to be falling apart on the pitch.

But Ashley Young, his former teammate, has revealed Carrick is not always that calm figure, and he can be ruthless when he needs to be.

Manchester United have racked up quite the injury list during the international break, including the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford.

With 10 days still to go until United's return, Michael Carrick will be hoping some can return to Carrington and prove their fitness in time for Tottenham Hotspur. But if you had to pick a team without the injured players, who would you go with?

Manchester United's squad for the UEFA Champions League has now been confirmed and can be seen below.

Manchester United Women were defeated by Newcastle United during their Spanish training camp.

21 players were in the matchday squad, who reportedly "dominated" proceedings, despite losing 1-0.

Manchester United have released their new third shirt for the 2026/27 campaign and oh my days it is beautiful!

Is it the best one this year?

Manchester United Women took to action for the first time under Eva Olid on Saturday afternoon in a 1-1 draw against Leicester City.

Matheus Cunha and Senne Lammens were not included in the travelling squad to face PSG on Saturday afternoon, but Michael Carrick has explained they will join the group soon.

Speaking to MUTV before the PSG match, Carrick said: "Senne and Matheus missed out today with a bit of illness, which is a bit unfortunate, but they'll meet us in Dublin, which is good."
