Eva Olid has been officially confirmed as Man Utd Women's new head coach
Manchester United Women took to action for the first time under Eva Olid on Saturday afternoon in a 1-1 draw against Leicester City.
Having gone 1-0 down, Elisabeth Terland netted an equaliser with three minutes left to play to level the game and become the first player to score under the new boss.
The behind-closed-doors match consisted of two 40-minute halves, where United had "patient build-up play and a high-pressing style".
Manchester United Women will travel to Spain on Friday 14 August for a six-day training camp, where they will face Newcastle United in a behind-closed-doors friendly.
They return to competitive action on Friday 4 September against London City Lionesses away from home.
