Manchester United have spent around £85 million this summer, with at least three more signings still expected to arrive.

United have completed deals to sign Andrey Santos from Chelsea and Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa. The Old Trafford hierarchy is currently working on signing a third midfielder, with the likes of Manu Koné and Carlos Baleba on the club's shortlist.

A new left-winger could also be signed, with Crysencio Summerville high on United's list of targets. A signing in that position, though, is dependent on Marcus Rashford's future. The English winger is likely to stay at Old Trafford unless a European giant makes a move for him. United have made him available for £40 million, but reports claim Michael Carrick is happy to keep him.

United have already earned around £38 million this summer from sales due to Rasmus Hojlund's transfer to Napoli having been made permanent. Joshua Zirkzee could also depart, with a handful of Italian clubs holding a long-term interest in the Dutch forward.

Manuel Ugarte was also expected to leave Old Trafford this summer, but those plans were shelved after he suffered a long-term injury at the World Cup playing for Uruguay. Noussair Mazraoui has also been linked with a move away from United, with Ruben Amorim reportedly being interested in bringing him to Milan.

Another player said to be on Amorim's list of targets at Milan is Amad. The Portuguese manager deployed the Ivorian winger as a right-wing back in his 3-4-3 formation during their time together at Old Trafford.

According to CaughtOffside, AC Milan have identified Amad as one of their priority attacking targets.

Amorim wants to add a young and inventive winger to his squad, and believes Amad would fit the dynamic system he is planning to use at Milan.

The report claims, however, that Milan is reportedly preparing a financially controlled proposal rather than an enormous bid, which may not be enough to convince United.

Brighton and Hove Albion and Newcastle United are also said to be monitoring developments surrounding the 24-year-old's situation.

Amad is a very good player; however, he needs to become more influential during games.

He is very good out of possession and is an excellent presser. He is comfortable holding the width and is a good dribbler, but he needs to be more decisive in games.

In 32 Premier League appearances last season, he only scored twice and registered only three assists. For a winger playing in a team that finished third, that is simply not good enough. 

At 24 years of age, Amad is approaching his prime and needs to start taking more responsibility in important moments.
