Two Manchester United midfielders have personally recommended a €35 million target to the club's board, endorsing him as a player who would thrive in a Red Devils shirt.

As Manchester United looks to fill the void that will be left by the imminent departure of the veteran Brazilian, it has focused all its attention on Molineux. Andre has been identified as one of the leading candidates to bolster the midfield, having made a major impression since arriving from Fluminense in August 2024 for £21 million.

Despite his good performances, Wolves currently sit at the bottom of the Premier League table, and it is believed that an offer of around £35 million would be enough to tempt them to sell, a valuation that could drop significantly if the club fails to avoid relegation, which would make him an even more attractive option for the Red Devils.

Interest in the Wolves star has been reinforced by a significant endorsement from within United’s own first-team squad. According to The Sun, Casemiro himself has recommended his compatriot to the club’s executives, as he believes the former Fluminense player has exactly what it takes to succeed in Manchester.

Captain Fernandes is also said to be an admirer of the midfielder, while former Wolves star Matheus Cunha has also backed Andre’s move to a top European club. These endorsements have propelled Andre up the shortlist, as United looks to bring in at least two new midfielders during the next transfer window.

Although Andre remains highly rated, United is not the only European giant keeping tabs on his situation. Both Liverpool and Bayern Munich have previously been credited with interest in the Brazilian international, who has made 13 appearances for his country but was not called up for the latest Selecao squad for the upcoming international break.

While Andre is one of the key names on the list, United is keeping its options open as it prepares for a busy summer under the new football leadership structure. The club has also been linked with Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton and Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson in its search for proven talent in domestic soccer.

Brighton’s Carlos Baleba is another name frequently mentioned in Old Trafford transfer circles. With a brutal squad overhaul expected to raise funds and free up space in the squad, midfield remains the priority area for reinforcement, as the club looks to provide more support for Fernandes in the final third.
