Manchester United academy graduate, Alejandro Garnacho, got his 'dream' move to Chelsea last summer after falling out with Ruben Amorim, however, his time at the Blues could be over already.
Alejandro Garnacho caught the eyes of the masses during his time at Old Trafford, bursting onto the scene and wowing fans with his bravery and directness on the ball.
In his breakout season, the Argentine scored five goals, and in the following season, he doubled his tally with 10, and then 11 goals in his last year.
After a huge fallout with Ruben Amorim, the winger was put into a 'bomb squad', which was a group of want-away players that were told to find a new club, which, for Garnacho, was Chelsea.
This season was crucial for Garnacho's career, with many expecting big things from him; however, with only one goal in the league this season, and eight in all competitions, he is at risk of being forced out of yet another club.
Garnacho transfer saga explained
As relayed by UnitedInFocus, according to journalist Simon Phillips, Chelsea are currently listening to offers for him.
Phillips stated, “Chelsea believe that Garnacho would have a lot of suitors willing to basically pay the same fee that they did to sign him last summer.
“The club apparently believed that the left-wing market was dry last summer, but there have been some recruitment regrets from the summer, too.”
Garnacho has only started three Premier League games against the 'big six', which resulted in two victories and a draw, making a pretty strong case that he could be of use for the Blues.
However, he is clearly out of favour, with the likes of Pedro Neto, Cole Palmer, and Estevao being preferred by both the fans and manager, Liam Rosenior, alluding to the idea that he himself may look to move in the summer also.
Has Garnacho's attitude ruined his reputation?
It is very well known that Garnacho and Manchester United did not end on good terms. While other players chose to do their talking on the pitch, Garnacho went down a different route.
From reports of his brother leaking the starting XIs whenever he was not included, to his petty antics on social media, reacting to comments against the manager.
On the other hand, players such as Marcus Rashford chose to keep quiet when things were not going their way, have not only gone on to succeed elsewhere, but they will be highly regarded by United fans when they retire.
Marcus Rashford has racked up 11 goals and assists in the league for Barcelona, and has also shone in the Champions League, scoring five times in just nine games. Many reports now believe that he will be a Barcelona player next season also.
Garnacho now finds himself in a potentially career-defining time and not for good reason, as his track record of bad behaviour and mediocre performances will make potential suitors look at alternative options to the Argentine.
