Amid squad changes, three Magpies stand firm. Discover the young talents and captain who are absolutely unsellable this summer.

Newcastle United’s Untouchable Trio

This summer is going to be a one which will see wholesale changes within the squad with those out of contract leaving, others deemed surplus to requirements and then those players looking to leave Newcastle, with Anthony Gordon & Tino Livramento linked with moves away from the club.

There are only 3 players in the current squad which are deemed as unsaleable in my eyes, they are Lewis Miley, Lewis Hall & Captain Bruno Guimaraes.

Lewis Hall

Lewis Hall Initially joined Newcastle on loan from Chelsea in August 2023, he didn’t feature much in his first season as Eddie Howe spent the time working with him on the training pitch improving his game, with fans not seeing much of him playing it lead to questions of if he is worth the £30 million price tag which was set as part of the loan.

Come July 2024 when the move became permanent it became a season which saw Lewis Hall start to get game time as the season got started, during which he showed his class, calmness and skill. Shining in games and becoming a fans favourite and securing the Left Back position for himself, an injury did cause him to miss the end of the season and the cup final win. He has came back stronger this season and has developed his game even more putting himself right at the front of the queue for a place on the plane for the World Cup.

Lewis Miley

Lewis Miley was thrust onto the first team stage due to the severe injury crisis which developed within the club during the 2023/24 season which saw Lewis play in the Premier League, Champions league and Cup competitions cementing his play in the midfield with assured performances. He has also shown himself to deliver assured performances out of position both at Right Back & Centre Back

Since then he has continued to grow with continued assured and impressive performances, Lewis has become Newcastle United’s Youngest ever debutant when he featured in the final day game away at Chelsea in the 2022/23 season, those records have continued to rack up becoming the Youngest Newcastle player to assist a premier league goal, Newcastles youngest player in a European competition, His goal against Fulham in the 2023/24 season made him Newcastle United’s youngest ever Premier League goalscorer & in December 2025, netting away to Bayer Leverkusen to become Newcastle United’s youngest ever goalscorer in the Champions League.

Bruno Guimaraes

Since arriving on tyneside his passion and workmate has shone through which his goals and performances helping save Newcastle from relegation, Secure 2 Champions League Campaigns and become the first Newcastle United Captain to bring silverware back to tyneside since Bob Moncur in 1969.

This season has shown his importance given the form we have been on since he has been out of the team due to his injury, 8 defeats from the last 11 games the worst record in the Premier League. Newcastle's record without Bruno is W27 D34 L52, compared to with Bruno which is W78 D28 L42
