Nottingham Forest have announced the club's new B Team Head Coach.

Nottingham Forest have confirmed the appointment of Dylan Malicheff as the club's new B Team Head Coach.

The vacancy arose earlier this summer, when it was communicated that veteran coach Warren Joyce had departed his role.

Forest's B Team endured a difficult 2025/26 season, with their 17th-place finish meaning that the young Reds will not compete in the Premier League International Cup in the upcoming campaign.

After a lengthy search, Malicheff has been identified as the coach to lead the next generation of Forest talent.

The 34-year-old Belgian signs having most recently been Anderlecht's under-18s Head Coach, after previous stints as a youth coach in both Belgium and the Netherlands.

Speaking after his arrival, Malicheff admitted his delight to join such an exciting group of talent at Forest.

“I’m really looking forward to working in an environment where the staff operates at the highest level every day," he said, "with a clear focus on preparing players for their individual development and the demands of first-team football.

“For me, this is an exciting challenge. I want to help players maximise their individual potential and accelerate their development, so they are ready to make the step towards the first team as quickly as possible.”

“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to join Nottingham Forest. Together with the staff, I’ll give everything every day to achieve our objectives and create the best possible environment for our players to develop and succeed."

Chris McGuane, Forest's Head of Academy, extended a warm welcome to the new man in the dugout, offering tall praise for his credentials.

“I am delighted to welcome Dylan to Nottingham Forest as he takes up the position as B Team Head Coach," he said.

"He arrives at the club with an extensive coaching background and will play a key role in developing our players from the Academy into the First Team.

“Through a detailed recruitment process, Dylan shone through with a desire to strive for the highest standards across our daily working environment. Having worked across a number of top clubs in Europe at both Academy and First Team level, Dylan has a track record in developing young players.

“Myself, Andy (Reid), and all of the staff are excited to be working with Dylan as we aim to continue producing players who are able to play at the highest level for Nottingham Forest, graduating from the Academy.”
