Oliver Glasner is facing the media for the first time since becoming Nottingham Forest head coach.

Newly appointed Nottingham Forest head coach Oliver Glasner is due to face the media for the first time at approximately 14:15 BST.

The former Crystal Palace boss was a shock acquisition for Forest, after the equally surprising dismissal of Vitor Pereira.

Glasner arrives with a huge weight of excitement and expectation, and fans are keen to hear the manager's vision for the club.

That's all for the live section!

Some more, embargoed, quotes will follow at some point over the next day or so.

Will Forest arrival sour his Palace legacy?

"I don't know. I will repeat that I am really pleased and grateful that I was part of that wonderful journey.

"There are players at Bayern, Arsenal and Fulham who were part of that journey, too. It is just part of life.

"We created memories, that's what I'm really proud of. I'm still in touch with a lot of my former players.

"I hope it doesn't happen, because I hope they appreciate that I gave 100 per cent of myself, because that is all I can promise."

Neco Williams' return

"Neco Williams came back early. He wasn't due to come in until next Monday, but I asked him, and we are playing Notts County on Saturday."

Key principle

"The non-negotiables are: team first. we want all the egos, all the talents of everyone, working together for the team.

"We will all make mistakes, I will make mistakes. But we want everyone to do everything for the team.

"If I think a player did something just for themselves, they will have a big problem."

Leaving Palace for Forest

"First of all I want to mention this because it's nothing new. I had 2 1/2 fantastic years and Crystal Palace. I am really pleased I was part of that journey.

"But for me it's a new chapter. It's about the project, the ambition and the vision. For me, if it is possible to exceed the expectations, then that is great."

Time needed to learn new system

"It takes three to six months when you ask a team to do something differently. When I signed for Palace I said, and I will repeat myself, I am not a magician.

"There is no button I can press so we can win the Premier League. It is a lot of hard work from everyone, supporting each other, this is the foundation of success."

Elliot Anderson replacements

"It is very hard to replace a player like him like for like. We have already identified them and now it is about signing them."

Style

"I don't know right now if we will play a back four or a back three. I want every player to play in their best position so they can be the best version of themselves.

"We are trying to get to know the players now, then we will decide the system. We have our principles, but the system will depend on the players who feel most comfortable."

Evangelos Marinakis' ambition

"When we had talks, I found one of the few people more ambitious than I am, which is quite difficult. So I think we challenge each other with ambition.

"Every Premier League club is ambitious, every manager and player is ambitious. That doesn't mean you will have success.

"So it doesn't make sense after two days to talk about silverware. We need to build consistency. With the right ingredients in every area, hopefully we have a great meal and will be successful."

Why Nottingham Forest?

"Over the summer I had many teams contact me, and one of those was Nottingham Forest. Then I had a look at the squad and spoke to the owner.

"My goal was to stay in the Premier League because I've really enjoyed it for 2 1/2 years.

"I know last season they struggled but the season before they finished seventh and almost qualified for the Champions League.

"It's a very talented squad and a very ambitious owner, and I think it could be a very exciting journey."
