The latest on Nottingham Forest's hopefuls across Europe vying to increase their minutes and boost their development away from the club.

Nottingham Forest have several stars out on loan across England and Europe to boost their players' development.

Some vary in experience, level and expectation, but they all have the same goal: to better their future career, whether that be at Nottingham Forest or elsewhere.

Here is a round-up of their latest endeavours with their loan clubs, and how they are faring in their time away.

Dilane Bakwa (LOSC Lille) - Debut goal vs PSG

Just says after returning to his native France on loan, Dilane Bakwa came on in the 68th minute of LOSC Lille's Ligue 1 match against Paris Saint-Germain.

As far as debut cameos go, Bakwa's was close to perfect. He scored in the 84th minute to put Lille 2-0 up against the back-to-back Champions League champions.

It was a superbly taken goal, and few players need a boost in confidence more than the 24-year-old.

Gustavo Sa (Olympiacos) - Mixed reviews after Asteras display

Gustavo Sa's signing may have passed you by completely, as Forest never actually announced his arrival.

Though he officially signed for the Reds, in a £17 million deal from Famalicão, the club never formally announced his arrival, and he immediately joined Olympiacos on loan.

Generally speaking, he has caught the eye during his brief time in Greece so far, but his short cameo in the final 15 minutes of Olympiacos' 1-0 win over Asteras drew mixed reviews.

The general consensus from those watching him regularly remains that the 21-year-old is a real talent with a bright future.

Donnell McNeilly (AFC Wimbledon) - Debut assist in Wigan win

Donnell McNeilly joined Nottingham Forest from Chelsea's academy last summer, and was immediately loaned to Wycombe Wanderers.

After being recalled in January, having scored two goals in 17 appearances, he spent the remainder of the season with Forest's B Team.

Now, the 20-year-old has joined AFC Wimbledon on loan with an option to buy, and the striker made an immediate impact, assisting their winner against Wigan Athletic 20 minutes after coming off the bench to make his debut.

Lamin Sillah (Gillingham) - Brief cameo in debut draw

Lamin Sillah came on for the last nine minutes of regular time in Gillingham's 1-1 League Two draw at home to Gillingham.

There had been a clamour for him to come on sooner, but manager Gareth Ainsworth did not do so.

The young striker was left somewhat isolated up front for the Gills, but had very little time to be judged on individually. He is expected to have a bright season.

Eric Da Silva Moreira (Excelsior) - New season, new loan

After a disappointing time with Rio Ave in the first half of last season, Eric Da Silva Moreira is hoping for a much better time in the Netherlands.

The young wingback impressed in Forest's first team during pre-season, and made his Excelsior debut at the weekend, coming on just before the hour-mark as his new side went on to beat Sparta Rotterdam 2-1.

Unused

Tyler Bindon (Charlton Athletic) and Omari Hutchinson (AC Milan) did not complete their loan moves to be involved this weekend.
