Everything you need to know ahead of Nottingham Forest's final pre-season game, against Stade Brestois.
Nottingham Forest host French outfit Stade Brestois at the City Ground on Sunday to conclude their pre-season preparations.
More than four weeks of pre-season work has seen Forest travel across Europe, from Portugal to northeastern Italy alongside games in Nottingham.
Sunday's visit of Brest will be Forest's second, and final, pre-season game at the City Ground this summer, following Wednesday's 2-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen.
Nottingham Forest team news
Taiwo Awoniyi returned to action against Bayer Leverkusen, after being unable to feature in Udine last weekend, but there was no sign of Chris Wood, who was forced to withdraw from the starting line-up in Italy.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Forest boss Oliver Glasner revealed that Wood has been training, and that if all goes to plan he will return against Brest on Sunday.
Omari Hutchinson has missed much of pre-season with an injury, and was again absent on Wednesday.
Updates about his condition have been scarce, but should he not feature on Sunday, Roundtable will bring you an update after the game.
Opposition view
Brest have not enjoyed a positive pre-season campaign so far, with just a single win to show from their five games so far.
That win came over French fourth-tier side Stade Briochin, in a game marred by two red cards; one for each team.
The 2024/25 Champions League play-off side operate in a typical 4-2-3-1 system, which should provide an interesting test to Oliver Glasner's three-back system.
Julien Lachuer's side have had a quiet summer transfer window so far, with just a handful of free transfers and loan departures dominating the deal sheets.
Their most notable arrivals are veteran defender Gautier Lloris, who arrived on a free transfer from Le Havre, while midfielder Mamady Diambou arrived from Salzburg.
How to watch
Forest's test against Brest will kick off at 14:00 BST on Sunday, 16 August 2026.
Match passes are available to buy on ForestTV for fans wanting to watch the game from the comfort of their own home.
Alternatively, Roundtable will be providing you with live updates throughout and after the match as usual, both here and on X (formerly Twitter).
