Here are my Tottenham player ratings,
Tottenham secured a memorable 2–0 win at Chelsea, with Roberto De Zerbi’s side earning their first Premier League win at Stamford Bridge since 2018.
Mike Penders’ own goal broke the deadlock before Mathys Tel settled the contest with an impressive individual strike.
Here are my Tottenham player ratings,
Antonín Kinský - 8.0
Made important saves from Jordan Henderson and Pedro Neto to protect Tottenham’s clean sheet.
Archie Gray -7.0
Started at right-back and completed the match. Part of a defensive unit that restricted Chelsea to seven attempts, their lowest total in a Premier League match this season.
Jan Paul van Hecke - 8.0
A clean sheet away at Chelsea was a welcome result for the centre-back, who looked confident on the ball and solid defensively throughout. His pressure led to Mike Pender's error that gave Spurs the lead.
Micky van de Ven - 8.0
Completed the match alongside Van Hecke and never looked like he'd be beaten on a wet, windy evening in West London. Solid defensive performance from the Tottenham captain.
Andy Robertson - 7.0
Provided an attacking outlet down the left, producing one of his best performances in a Spurs shirt, later confirmed to Sky Sports that he didn’t train all week. His combinations with Maddison and Tel helped Spurs open up Chelsea. Replaced after 65 minutes.
Sandro Tonali - 9.0
Controlled the midfield battle alongside Mateus Fernandes. Had a chance to add to the score late on but sent the rebound wide after Penders saved Solanke.
Mateus Fernandes - 9.0
His corner produced the breakthrough when Penders misjudged his attempted punch. Controlled the midfield with Sandro Tonali in a dominating performance from the young Portuguese youth international. Excellent in the middle.
Mohammed Kudus - 7.5
Created a late opening for Solanke with a pass through Chelsea’s defence. Looked dangerous in possession and a consistent threat down Tottenham’s right-hand side. Excellent with his back to goal.
James Maddison - 7.0
His movement and involvement in Tottenham’s left-sided combinations troubled Chelsea before the interval. Unfortunately, he left early in the second half with an injury.
Mathys Tel - 8.5
He threatened down the left, though his final ball didn't always match his approach play. Delivered emphatically when it mattered, driving inside and firing a low shot beyond Penders to seal the victory.
Omar Marmoush - 6.0
Wasted a promising first-half opening. Struggled to produce in front of goal but produced some bright moments off the ball during Tottenham’s attack. A difficult evening up front that really called for a strong number 9, rather than an off-the-shoulder forward like the Egyptian.
