Antonin Kinsky is confident that Luca Williams-Barnett has the quality to be a huge success at Tottenham and was delighted to see him make his Premier League debut against Crystal Palace.
Luca Williams-Barnett announced himself to the Premier League on the weekend after making his debut.
Despite only just turning 18, the winger played with so much confidence after coming on for the final six minutes.
Williams-Barnett came so close to producing the most remarkable assist; however, Mohammed Kudus somehow missed from just a few yards out.
Tottenham fans have been calling for the youngster to be given minutes this season, and Roberto De Zerbi finally gave him his chance on Saturday.
There is now huge excitement around the teenager, and Kinksy has been speaking about how good he can become in North London.
Antonin Kinsky on Luca Williams-Barnett: "He has the potential to become a great player"
Antonin Kinsky believes that Luca Williams-Barnett has the potential to become a 'great player' for Tottenham.
The Czech goalkeeper was so happy to see him finally given his opportunity in the Premier League, with the youngster having to be patient for his chance.
Speaking to Jay Harris, he said: "He has the quality, personality and all the potential to become a great player. I was happy for him. It is a huge motivation to get the minutes here. He had the crowd cheering for him.
"I hope that he is going to work well, as he did until today. He has a great future in front of him."
The winger has now become a regular part of the first-team squad at Spurs after being moved up from the Under-21s.
Over pre-season, he showed flashes of why he is considered to be one of the best academy players to emerge from Hotspur Way.
It has been so impressive to see such a young player play with so much swagger and confidence, which Kinsky also noted.
Max Dowman and Rio Ngumoha have been two of the biggest breakout English stars in the Premier League, but Williams-Barnett could soon rival the duo.
Mykhailo Mudryk and Savinho's return should not impact Luca Williams-Barnett's minutes
De Zerbi must ensure that Mykhailo Mudryk and Savinho's return from injury do not impact Williams-Barnett's minutes.
Both wingers are currently sidelined with injuries at the moment, but are due back just after the international break.
Mudryk and Savinho will be competing with Mathys Tel and the teenager for the left wing spot, but it would not be a smart move for De Zerbi to take game time from Williams-Barnett.
Following Harry Kane's Ballon d'Or win, Spurs should use that as a sign to trust in their academy more often.
Spurs have lost top players like Troy Parrott and Will Lankshear over recent years, and they cannot afford to waste Williams-Barnett's talent.
The teenager has been linked with a move to some of Europe's biggest clubs, but hopefully Spurs can do enough to keep hold of him.
