Pedro Porro will represent Spain after playing a key part in their 2026 FIFA World Cup win. The right-back helped Spain lift the trophy in the Americas and scored twice during the tournament.
Porro’s performances have helped him secure a regular spot in the national team, and he now has 24 senior international caps for Spain.
Spain will start their UEFA Nations League campaign with four matches during the longer international window. Their first game is against Thomas Tuchel’s England at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, 26 September.
After that, the world champions will host Croatia and then play the Czech Republic, who may have Tottenham goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky in their squad. Spain will finish their international run with an away match against Croatia on 6 October.
Micky van de Ven and Jan Paul van Hecke have also kept their spots in the Netherlands squad after playing for their country at the World Cup.
New Netherlands head coach Xavi picked the Tottenham defenders as the Dutch start their 2026/27 Nations League campaign. They will play Germany and Greece, then face Serbia twice during the international break.

The attacking midfielder was involved in all three Tottenham goals, scoring once as Spurs came from behind to win. His creativity, movement, and productivity make him one of the academy’s most exciting prospects.
De Zerbi spoke about Williams-Barnett in his press conference before the Premier League match against Aston Villa. The Tottenham head coach called the teenager a potential top player and said it’s important to choose the right time to bring him into the senior team.
Hardy has become an important player in Tottenham’s youth system and now gets another chance to show his skills internationally.
